  1. Saw the F in March when I was headed north on I-77 but didn't have time to stop and take a picture. Thanks for posting the pics OD. Seat cover season....bring it on!
  2. In the past I got my DOT physical and medical card from the company doctor (no charge). Now that I am retired I am going to ask my family doc if he does DOT physicals. If not I may be stopping by CVS. Keep me updated Larry.
  3. I think they use the MH as a "spotter". Driver's wiper in different position too. I may give them a call and ask if it is for sale.
  4. Has anyone called about this truck? I may have to give them a call. What is a "reasonable" price?
  5. Let me guess, you are married... I hear if you "swing" both ways you double your chances. (I want to be perfectly clear...this is what I HEAR)
  6. Best way to find out is to call the dealer and get the price and minimum quantity. Considering the cost and size of a windshield, I doubt you will need to by 2 of each.
  7. Exports tend to overinflate the true price/value of the vehicle. And make it hard for a local buyer to justify the purchase.
  8. Yes I heard Jennies is a great restaurant. I couldn't think of the name but I always see a lot of trucks sitting in the parking lot. Maybe slpwlker will go there instead of Friendly's.
  9. Does that mean the "gate" will be locked?
  10. I was hoping Navistar and Cat would develop a non-SCR engine. I think everyone "caved in" on SCR as an easy way to meet emissions regs and were tired of "spending $$". I saw a chart showing cost versus emissions reduction....the cost was ASTRONOMICAL compared to the VERY SMALL amount of emissions improvement. We can thank EPA for these regs and increased costs. I think the engine OEs will ultimately develop a non-SCR in the coming years. Prior to 2010, the OEs were VERY CLOSE to meeting emissions without SCR. I think the best engines (reliability, emissions, smokeless, and fuel economy) were the early 2000 engines.
  11. Stayed there a few times. There are a few restaurants to the east of you...Dienner's, Good 'N Plenty, and Hershey Farm. I never cared for Miller's. Good 'N Plenty is family style and has EXCELLENT shoofly pie. I am at the Rodeway Inn in Akron. I started staying here in 2011 when I attended Gerhart's show. The hotel is an old style but clean and quiet. No truck parking but the owner lets me park my MH here. FYI, I don't have my MH with me this trip. I may drive to Gerhart's on Friday and "snoop" around.
  12. I was guessing and as I stated, depends where you are in Lancaster. Where are you staying (on Route 30)?
  13. about 20 miles depending where you are. I am staying in Akron...on 222 just north of 772.
  14. If you are talking Breezewood....NO, just fast food. I was on my way to Lancaster to visit Outback Toys in Lititz. They are having their customer appreciation days (Friday and Saturday). I have never been to Outback and needed a "mental health break". I am going back to Altoona on Saturday morning. I ate lunch at Oregon Farm (north of Lancaster off 222) - lunch stuffit buffit. Anyone near Lititz want to meet for breakfast on Friday or Saturday morning? One (well actually several) place I like is the Litiitz Family Cupboard.
  15. Someone on BMT buy it?
  16. Went thru Breezewood today and drove back to the Post House. I took a coupe pics of the closed facility. BTW, it is behind Flying J truck stop (on top of the hill). On my drive I saw a MH612.
  17. If the oil has a "chocolate milk" color you likely have coolant in the oil. I still recommend an oil sample/analysis if you continue to "make" oil. Cheap way to check the engine condition.
  18. I like it except for the hummin cummins.
  19. Do you think that was her plan?
  20. Vinny - This one is ready to go! And a dump bed too.
  21. Thank you!
  22. You may want to run an oil analysis just to be sure it is not fuel dilution.
  23. Likely a caibration gas for the portable emissions measurement system.
  24. Happy Birthday! Dang, sure a lot of birthdays this month....hmmm April - 9 months = July....4th of July celebration?
