  1. Mike, Good to hear you are home. Take care of yourself. If you need anyone to "take care of the dog pound", I am sure you can find help on BMT.
  2. EGR cooler?
  3. Doug, Is Don (or another Mack retiree) still at the museum? Perhaps he can set the story straight on the dogs...facing in or facing out? Inquiring minds want to know!
  4. I called and yes the ATHS has contracted with a company to publish a roster of members and members' vehicles. I updated my information, bit the bullet, and ordered the CD version for $34. I thought it would be "nice to have" since it lists the members, location, and vehicles. Likely the CD is copy protected so someone cannot make copies and sell or give to others. As was mentioned, my college alma tomater did the same thing a few years ago.
  5. I will ask the dumb question...why do you need the emissions equipment? Your truck is old enough to be licensed as an Antique or Historical vehicle. I would think because of the age it would be exempt. Of course if you are talking NY....well anything is possible. As a suggestion, I would first start with your local Mack dealer for retrofit kits.
  6. I thought this was answered in another post? Maybe I been napping too long.
  7. What boost pressure are you seeing? 1982 Performance book shows 12-20 psi boost for EM6-250. To change to 275 or higher requires different injection pump/setting, injectors, and turbo.
  8. Post a pic of the dryer and where you think the air is leaking. Is the air leaking from a fitting, spitter valve, or ?????
  9. Can you hear air escaping from the dryer? What is the make/model of the air dryer? Bendix has rebuild parts available. Check with your dealer, contact Watt, or a truck parts supply house.
  10. Just thinkin'...Vinny did not mention medical or mental hospital. Maybe his wife finally had him committed after buying the last Mack. Remember Mike's post about his wife and buying more Macks? Or he got bit by a rabid "dog". All kidding aside, I hope it is nothing serious and Mike is back in the Superdog's driver seat soon. Again, thoughts and prayers going your way!
  11. No close to you but Roger Gerhart may have or know of one.
  12. What ^^^^^ said. Thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.
  13. Great! Gotta love that driptroit moan!
  14. If I Recall Correctly
  15. try www.slclighting.com or www.pmlights.com
  16. Jacobs Brake website... http://www.jacobsvehiclesystems.com/parts-service-support/how-an-engine-brake-works/
  17. Are you using WIN 8.1 and IE 11?
  18. Joe, It was likely those Nuns-in-Training at the Nunerary that converted him. The NITs probably got an A+ for their efforts.
  19. Voltage and amps are important.
  20. MH with E9...you have my attention.
  21. Ron, Speaking from experience?!?!
  22. BULL $HIT!!!
  23. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Enjoy time with your family
  24. Mike, 2 for the price of 1 sale? I will let you know prices if I attend. Based on the CPA website, they have monthly utility vehicle auctions. Actually I was hoping you or Yardo would buy me an aerialscope or similar vehicle for Christmas.
  25. Fred, There are many other "jobs" where I could use a bucket truck or boom lift (working on the MH roof, trailer sides, barn eaves, house roof, and the list goes on). I am getting too old to be climbing a ladder. Also since I am the only person at the farm, if something would happen..... Something could happen with a lift but should be safer than a ladder. Per Paul/Jason, I am going to Lock Haven in December and see what is on the lot.
