  1. Nice looking Fury. If it had a 440 and 727...I might be interested. I like the Power Wagon in the background.
  2. I thought the car and truck on the poles looked familiar....actually between C'burg and Shippensburg.
  3. Larry, Did you go to the auction today? What was the final bid?
  4. Dang...out of likes but I do like these.
  5. Yes, thanks again to EPA. Paint additive is one of the reasons CAT changed from bright yellow to dull yellow. BTW, do you know how much ground pollution comes from new asphalt or tar/gravel pavement runoff? We put used oil on dirt roads to prevent dust (township/state sprayed oil too).
  6. As always, nice pics. Thanks for posting!
  7. That is what I want to do...buy a pup trailer, put living quarters over the fifth wheel, and haul a tractor, bike, etc. in the back. I know of two (2) pups in Arizona that are for sale.
  8. I was referring to the automotive industry. Trucks seem to have an endless array of colors and color schemes. Probably more so today than in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. I just wish the automotive industry would offer the more choices. Afterall, a new car/truck is in the $50K range. I should have the freedom to choose both exterior and interior color and options. Trucks OEs are getting less fexible in the "hardware" side.
  9. Happy Birthday Hat!
  10. Usually the case, one seems to seldom visit local places. BUT YOU MUST VISIT THE MACK MUSEUM!
  11. Back in the "day" you could order a vehicle with any engine, color, etc. Not a "package" like today. Most auto OEs offered almost unlimited exterior colors and several different color interiors (white, blue, green, tan, red, and black). I think we can thank EPA, regulations, and economy for what we "get" today. Seems like most stuff is just "cookie cutter".
  12. Email if you just want the build/spec sheet. By "snail mail" you get a boat load of information, booklets, and some manuals.
  13. I have a full set "somewhere". Now if I could only remember where.
  14. Nice trucks...I like the intergral sleeper.
  15. I think Leversole started a thread on the subject of gas can spouts but dang if I can find it. Anyway, saw this on another forum...going to give it a try on my cans.
  16. Then want are the two (2) black round objects on the top of the sleeper?
  17. Give them your VIN and they can do the research. Takes 3-4 weeks. Don't forget to send them a "donation" for their help.
  18. If is about safety, they should be stopping "TEXTERS"!
  19. Pic is too small to get any detail. It might be a reflection from an overhead fixture.
  20. Dave, Thanks for the pics! BTW I don't see any trees in the background in some of the pics.
  21. I see the U.S. Military is using Unimog vehicles. WTF, can't we build our own military vehicles?
  22. Grommet - have you looked at McMaster-Carr or Dorman's? www.mcmaster.com www.dormanproducts.com
  23. I have a pic of this truck too but I could not find it. Thanks for posting.
