  1. It also adds extra oil capacity so you can potentially extend oil drain intervals.
  2. The IH 2+2 tractor never caught on. I believe it was too long and turning radius too big.
  3. Just an FYI - all CAPS suggest you are YELLING! Are you hard of hearing?!? I definitely would like to see ole Waylon's H!
  4. I had a few others that do the same thing.
  5. Mike - I agree and let's all pray you are correct.
  6. Be afraid....be VERY afraid of the next 4 years!
  7. I don't remember Ford's streamlined turbine but I do remember GM's. The cab looks to be trailer height (whatever the legal limit was at that time). Thanks for posting!
  8. Non-commercial Use Only - isn't that what Barry stated in his messages? Or am I missing something?
  9. Just guessing here...could it be a "slow blow" fuse?
  10. Thinking about keeping the AD-IP rather than spend more money for another dryer. The factory location is on the inside left frame rail behind the fuel tank. The air compressor is on the right side of the engine and the primary tank is on the right also. Will I create problems if the dryer is mounted on the right side perhaps behind the right fuel tank? The lines would be shorter. I read in the Mack Air Brake Manual that lines too short will cause excess moisture. TIA for your input.
  11. There are sites I visited and cannot copy a pic. If someone has an internet site with pics, secure the site so pics cannot be copied.
  12. and then tell him the quality of the photo does not meet our standards. [pic of Mack truck goes here]
  13. EPA does not like glider kits and has likely "outlawed" them....new chassis/cab.....older emissions cert engine (that is period correct for the VIN).
  14. I liked the wimmin (exspt LuLu, Minnie, and Mrs. Grandpa Jones)!
  15. Sell the camper and use the monies to get a real hotel room.
  16. Maybe we need to change our replies to "we like pics but don't post them - make a sketch and post it!"
  17. Always wondered about the name Emeryville. Is Emeryville where the cab or truck were manufactured?
  18. Maybe GreenDash's truck is in this group!
  19. THANKS Barry for the info and all that you do to moderate this site. As for my pics from truck shows, all I ask is credit for the photos (which you have done). Other "personal" pics that I have taken and posted have my watermark on them. Let's hope Hank's sees the value in allowing pics to be posted on BMT.
  20. Jake, Good decision to buy the R. As for the modifications...my thought is as long as you don't "butcher" it. That is use Mack components, parts, etc. and if you ever sell it the future owner can put if back to "original specs". Good luck!
  21. Try Adelman's in Canton, OH. www.adelmans.com
  22. My MH has spring rear suspension. I mostly bobtail, when I go over a bridge strip the back end will skip and sometimes go slightly sideways. It can get intense if the highway is wet. Also, sometimes it will jump out of gear. You either hold tight to the shift lever or get your hand out of the way. The shifter goes spastic! Thank God for air ride seats. I am looking for an air ride suspension trailer and plan to build "living" quarters over the fifth wheel. I hope the added weight of the trailer will "smooth" the ride.
