  1. West of McConnellsburg on US 30 at PA655
  2. Oh crap! I am in trouble!
  3. I may be available on Saturday but busy on Sunday. Send me a PM once you firm up your plans and perhaps we can meet somewhere. I plan to go to Chambersburg one day to look at a boom lift. Chambersburg is east of McConnellsburg.
  4. Most sites are slow to load due to ads. If I am using the farm computer (older with WIN7) it takes forever for pages to load. My portable computer (WIN8.1) is faster but still have the f'in ads.
  5. Closest town would be McConnellsburg. When are you planning to take a look?
  6. Not too far from the farm in PA. If anyone is interested I can go take a looksee.
  7. Gregg, Maybe your Smartphone is not so smart. Just sayin'
  8. TOPIC PREFIX is a drop down menu.
  9. 1993 E7-400 V-MAC spec is 24-32psi.
  10. Headliner center dome/reading lamp? Condition? Thanks!
  11. Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Been there myself so I know how you feel. Hang in there, another truck will come along with your name on it.
  12. Today I was driving east from Pigeon Forge, TN to Charleston, SC on I-40 and I-26. Just about five (5) miles east of the North Carolina / South Carolina line I saw a dark blue R sitting on the south side of the highway at a business. I am not like OD with my camera ready so I did not get a pic plus it was raining. Does anyone else travel I-26 regularly and can put an eye on the R? I do not know if it was for sale but it looked in good condition.
  13. IMHO, if it were not for vvvvvolvo we likely would not be on BMT. Also, there likely would be no Mack Museum/Customer Center (as we know today). Mack would have been liquidated including their facilities. The handwriting was on the wall when I worked there in the mid-80s. B&M all you want just be glad Mack is supported. I worked for a company that "closed their doors" and all the records, etc. were DESTROYED and manufacturing pieces scrapped. Some are willing to accept the "truth", move on, and make the best of the situation. Others prefer to B&M and live in the past.
  14. Are the cabs identical? May need to take some measurements.
  15. One gets only so many "likes" per day. I am guessing it is 5-10. Captain Barry is the person you need to contact to determine if he will increase the number of "likes" allocated per day.
  16. Barry, Will I get a refund?
  17. Install glad hand seals with screen inserts to prevent nests in the air lines.
  18. 40psi boost? What is your exhaust temperature? Spec for 250hp shows 25psi at rated load/speed (300hp - 28psi).
  19. Larry, Sent you a PM. Ken
  20. Engine tag shows E7-250 (not Maxidyne EM7-250). According to the 1993 Engine Spec Manual, the E7-250 was only offered in mechanical (no V-MAC). Since I do not have a 1995 manual, I don't know if the E7-250 was offered with V-MAC. I can't tell from the engine tag if your engine is a V-MAC. E7-250 operating range is 1200-1950 and max torque is 975lbft. If you want to go to 300hp (1950rpm & 1083lbft), you will need different pump setting, injectors, and turbo. Again this is based on the 1993 manual information. Is there an electrical wiring harness on the back of the injection pump? That would indicate a V-MAC. Post pic if possible.
  21. Being a 1995...is it a V-MAC? Is it a Maxidyne EM7-250? If so, the EM7-250, EM7-275, and EM7-300 use the same turbo, fuel pump, and injectors. However you would need to reprogram the V-MAC data file. Max torque is 1190, 1305, 1425 at 1020rpm respectively. Operating range for all three is 1020-1750rpm. If you want to increase the operating range, you will likely need a new turbo and injectors (and reprogram). If you can get a copy of the 1995 Mack Engine Tune-Up Specifications manual #5-305, it will show you the various ratings available for the E7 engine and component part numbers. The info shown is from a 1993 manual which I bought off fleabay.
  22. Nice pics and some fine ass-ets too!
  23. Loadstar, Thanks for investigating. It is not listed under "new listings" (where it previously was located) nor "used recuse trucks". Perhaps they don't want anyone to see it. I don't partronize or contact sites/people that can't list the price.
  24. Leslie, Can't help with the filter location but it sounds like you might be able to simplify your hose routing. Perhaps you are "sucking air" at one of the many connections. Some fuel systems have the primary filter between the tank and transfer pump and the final (secondary) filter between the transfer and injection pumps. It is easier to "pull" the fuel through a "course" filter and "push" the fuel through a "fine" filter.
