  1. Mike - good news!
  2. Anyone of these ladies could play with my shifter!
  3. I don't think we want to go there!
  4. Hmmm, no wonder you don't have time to pickup female hitchhikers!
  5. JJ, Deleting emission equipment is ILLEGAL here in the states. Therefore, no one on this forum is likely able to help you "override" any emissions controls. I am sure there are companies that offer assistance with your friend's issue. Perhaps someone will send you a PM with information but you will not see it published on a public forum. Electronic engines have many sensors and built-in checks and diagnostics that it is not easy to disable much if anything. Sorry you feel no one is giving you a straight answer. This forum is still the best place for information about Macks.
  6. I think the word is "watermark". Better lay off those pain pills SD! BTW, how are you doing lately? Is the shoulder SLOWLY getting better?
  7. Leversole tried to help but with no luck. I did however find a solution. I opened the files with my photochop program (Photo Pos Pro) and resaved the images with NO modifications. I am now able to open the files with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. BTSOOM!
  8. And Superdog wonders why my sleeper is not made!
  9. I usually pack: tool set (sockets, wrenches, etc.)(both english and metric), cordless 1/2" power wrench, 1/2" driver with bits, coolant, oil, spare filters (oil and fuel), air hose that connects to glad hand, coveralls, gloves, windshield washer fluid, fuel additive, general purpose cleaner, paper towels, and water/snack bars just in case you get stranded. Some TP and wet towels aren't a bad idea either. Do you have a spare tire for your trailer, if so, take it too. Good luck and drive safe.
  10. new name...."shifter"....i like it!
  11. Sent you a PM.
  12. Go for it! Your camper trailer would look good behind it!
  13. I double checked the file extension....JPG. And I also renamed and saved the pic as xxxxx.jpg with the extension in the name and still nothing. I can open the pic file with Quicktime but not Windows. I can "save as" from other sites and open with Windows, just not Truck Paper. I guess I am not supposed to consider buying this item.
  14. Does anyone know how to save copies of images published in Truck Paper? I click on "View Full Size", then "right click", and "save picture as". When I try to view it with Windows Picture Viewer I get the following message "drawing failed". What am I doing wrong?
  15. Tittsburgh = Pittsburgh.....old joke! I will tell you sometine if you never heard it. Middlesex is near Carlisle/Harrisburg West Middlesex is near Sharon, PA (PA/OH line)
  16. Nice pics and thanks for posting. There are some nice Mack trucks in PR but too much glitz and chrome for me. Those single axle R models look good.
  17. Yea that is a decent looking U model but too much for my pocketbook. I guess I am getting to be a cheap cheaper old fart. I paid less for my MH and think it is in better condition, in my opinion. It seems the R and U models still hold their value. I would like to have a single axle R or maybe a U (with kickstand). Perhaps I should sell some of my tractors....NOT! Cecil is SW of Tittsburgh.
  18. I would not leave the block heater plugged in continuously. Recommend a battery maintainer on the batteries (whether in the truck or removed). It is not a bad idea to put a good multifunctional Diesel fuel additive (I use Stanadyne Performance Formula) in the fuel and also not a bad idea to fill the fuel tanks (keeps condensation to a minimum). If you want to cover, use a cover that breathes rather than a plastic tarp. You may want to tilt the bed so any water runs out the back rather than collecting in the bed. Just my thoughts.
  19. Fred, you MH is looking good!
  20. The cat er dog is out of the bag now! BMT group scavenger hunt!!!
  21. Thanks for posting pics of your new "toy". I see you are doing some "cleaning" with the brown bottle!
  22. Randy - you been reading too many "Vinny" posts. Claus does not have an "E"!
  23. Nice vid and scenery! You are a poet and I didn't know it!
