  1. Check is in the mail!
  2. Nice! What size 12V inverter do you need for it?
  3. Depending on the gear ratio, it may take some time to drive 600 miles. If it is only geared for 45mph, you are not to be driving on the interstate highways.
  4. We are the stupid people for not marketing stupid innovative stuff.
  5. sorry for your loss
  6. Congrats Mike!
  7. Paul, If you are talking about the flag by the Horseshoe Curve, it has been there for several years. It is more difficult to see when the leaves are on the trees. Never heard anyone say how it got there.
  8. Hmmm....Horseshoe Curve. I know, you did not have time to stop or call. Nice pics tho.
  9. Bummer. I will be in PA. Take lots of pics and post. Have a great time if you go!
  10. Allis-Chalmers bought the Buda Engine Company in 1953. Buda was founded in 1881 and based in Harvey.
  11. Happy Birthday
  12. Thanks for all the suggestions. I have many parts manuals that are on microfiche. I been able to locate/obtain paper copies/PDFs of most farm equipment OEs and most MOPAR vehicles but locating paper copies/PDFs of late model GM vehicles is difficult. Currently I am trying to locate a genuine GM parts manual (paper or PDF) for a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix and can only find microfiche. I prefer PDFs which allow me to print specific pages. I been watching eBay but nothing listed. Going to Spring Carlisle later this week and will look there.
  13. She likely has "a full beard". And hairy legs too...
  14. I have many parts manuals on microfiche and would like to get them converted to Adobe PDF. Hopefully these can be converted inexpensively. Does anyone know of a scanning service or a machine that will convert them? Searching the interweb I found fiche printers but no scanners.
  15. And the Travel Channel does not show any Winfall wimmin or "seat covers".
  16. Green Dash is everywhere, just like Santy Claus. He's busier than a one armed paper hanger. Then there is OD...he "sneaks" into town and leaves, never stopping for anything other than buziness.
  17. When I was at dog house (mid 80s) the test lab had several "rock crusher" test procedures. The hp/torque settings for the "rock crusher" tests were always above "normal" ratings. I just don't remember the percentages.
  18. Al, Thanks for posting the pics. I like the middle one best but the others are nice too. Now I have some ideas for my MH.
  19. Vlad, I do not know the part number of the tinted (green) glass. I have a few glass panels with the metal channel on the bottom. It is my understanding, the aftermarket (will fit) glass does not have the metal, just a plain piece of glass.
  20. Could have rounded up some vintage rust-free Macks and parts and transported them to PA.
  21. Mike, Great pics. Thanks for posting. Makes me "homesick" for the midwest. What is the plan for the MH?
  22. Tom, Sorry to hear of your misfortune. At least you were not stranded along side the road in some desolate location in the middle of a blizzard. As the saying goes "that's trucking". Good that you have a company to cover your repair costs in a timely manner. Good luck down the road and stay safe!
  23. Carl, I will have my own bicycle AND a goof cart too (at least that is the plan). At about 10mph, from the hotel to show grounds, however long x angle of the dangle + signal lights + head wind + ummm other stuff divided by the square root of the ambient temperature....equals....well I should be there by lunch time. Then there is the TK alias the Nunnery...that will be another adventure 'specially on I-78. Maybe some young NIT will take pity on this old fart and give me a "ride".
  24. Randy, Too bad, I am sure Jim would love to have a big truck parade. The Home where my mother is hosts car, truck, and tractor shows throughout the summer months. Many of the old timers enjoy seeing that stuff. Perhaps we could do some type of recognition for Jim at York and/or Macungie.
  25. 600 series are rectangular, the 200 series are round.
