  1. Yep, similar thing happened to me on another site. A person was looking for a part and I posted a link for eBay. Next day my post was deleted. If I am bidding on an item, I am not going to post the link or info. If I am not interested, then I will post for others to see (who may be interested). Isn't this what we are about....helping each other?
  2. Let him know I will look but may be a few days/weeks. My parts are in "cold storage". If I find one, I will give him a call and post a note. Mike, how handy are yours?
  3. As I understand the emissions regs....the emissions go with the vehicle model year (based on VIN). If you put a newer engine in an older vehicle...emissions = older vehicle MY. If you put an older engine in a newer vehicle....emissions = new vehicle MY.
  4. Are you talking the complete hinged door assembly behind the passenge step? I may have a used one. If and when the temperatures warm, I will look. I also know of a parts MH that likely has the door but again, need warmer temps. Is he in a big hurry?
  5. As I posted previously, I "believe" Roger Gerhart said people could park their trucks at his place. But I don't want to speak for him so best contact Roger or hopefully Doug Maney will see this message/thread and provide confirmation/information.
  6. I am planning to attend MATS 2015 all day on Thursday and till noon on Friday. As I posted previously....I leave at noon Friday to avoid the "cattle herd". If anyone is planning to be there on Thursday afternoon/evening, let me know and perhaps we can meet for dinner. BTW, there is a Hooters booth at MATS and also a Hooters restaurant south on Dixie Highway.
  7. When the stone pulverizes, it is like pourning sand into the cylinder. It may be small but VERY abrasive. Like the FRAM commercial....pay me now or pay me later.
  8. Honing stone is abrasive. Better remove it rather than run it that way.
  9. Third time was NOT the charm....auction ended with only one bid.....$5000. Next step is likely a boat ride.
  10. Now that this thread has buried itself in the bottom of the gutter....I will try to drag it up a few notches to get some fresh air. Who is planning/thinking about "camping" at the show? As I mentioned, I have room reservations at the Best Western but am considering "camping" in my trailer. I am going to call HQ and ask about trailer parking, electrical hookup, and cooking. I see there is a truck wash service available and also water/hose hookup for DIY. At this time I am planning to arrive on Wednesday but may arrive Tuesday if I decide to "rough it". P.S. Yardo (pimp I mean PSM)....I may need a NIT assistant. The slope is slippery so back into the depths of the gutter we go.
  11. Looking goooood!
  12. Good news. Don't forget to go back and mark the ad/post "SOLD".
  13. So you are the travel agent/cruise director/reservationist?
  14. Geez....it only took one reply (thanks to Yardo) for this thread to drop into the gutter. I am definitely sleeping at the Best Western. You all can have fun with the trailer. All I ask is for it to be in the same condition as delivered. Oh and no stains on the floor! Let's see...$113 per night...my cut should be at least 50% since I am furnishing everything 'cept the food and drinks. As for the Winfall wimmin that pass Leversole's "interview"....we can "work out" a deal. And for the wimmin that fail...perhaps Yarnell will donate some 'cillin.
  15. ECM is typically under the dash on the right hand side (passenger kick panel).
  16. Upon further review....I see there are two (2) showers. Also indoor show parking for $35 versus outdoor for $15. Hmmm...
  17. I use Ad Hunt'r - search by Region and State. www.adhuntr.com
  18. UTV - utility vehicle (i.e. John Deere Gator, Kaw Mule, Polaris Ranger, Club Car Carryall/XRT, or similar side by side vehicle with a bed). BTW, I also have State Farm insurance and carry a liability "umbrella" policy. Does that count? P.S. I hope ATCA and ATHS will allow a two wheeler (bicycle). Or will it be illegal to "peddle ass" at the show?
  19. Brocky, I just looked at the ATHS information. The Sunday convoy is ONLY $115 but it includes breakfast, lunch, steam train ride, shirt, and flag.
  20. Both ATCA and ATHS are requiring exhibitors to register golf carts (no ATVs). I think this is a good idea. I attended too many shows that were overrun with not only golf carts but also ATVs. Requiring registration may limit the number of carts on the grounds. I also noticed that the owners must show proof of insurance. I never heard of "golf cart" insurance. Can anybody please fill me in? Are UTVs allowed? To me an UTV is a golf cart on steroids.
  21. On Sunday May 31st, the ATHS is planning a convoy to Roger Gerhart's and other area places. I may have smoked one too many left handed cigars at Lititz but I remember Roger saying people could park their trucks at his place after ATHS and then drive them to Macungie in June. Perhaps Doug can set the record straight. BTW, now that Obummer is "holding hands" with Cuba, maybe we can get some GOOOOD cigars.
  22. Bringing this to the top. I am tired of COLD temperatures so it is time to think Summer and warmer temperatures and Truck Shows. Received the WOT today with all the National Convention info. I already made my hotel reservations at the Best Western. To get the ATHS discounted rate of $99.99 you need to call the hotel directly. I sent a note to the "fairgrounds" asking about showers, etc. but never received a reply. I may consider sleeping in the Mouse House "pole dancing" establishment. Are we allowed to use a grill and cook our own grub? I never been to an ATHS National Show....do I need to bring a tux? I plan to "roll in" on Wednesday May 27th and "roll out" on Sunday May 31st. I saw there is a "convoy" to Gerhart's and places east. Not sure if I will go along. P.S. There are no TK Nunneries nor Hooters in the York area.....bummer. What are we going to do? BTW, received the Double Clutch the other day and sent in my Macungie registration.
  23. Interesting but frustrating
  24. Tom, NICE assistant! I see the headlights are on high beam. Definitely nipply cold!
  25. Yardo is talking serious....Denny's. Brocky...you do not understand Yardo's note....cheap cheap! Is there a TK Nunnery or Hooter's in York....if so maybe I could...nah never mind!
