  1. There is only one thing that I like "pink on the inside" and it is NOT beef!
  2. Checked fleabay this morning and the MH is relisted with same starting bid and a reserve. http://www.ebay.com/itm/151536286942?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Just for shits and grins I am thinking to call on Friday morning and make a low ball offer. I was told a seller should not refuse an offer at the beginning of the year...bad luck.
  3. Congratulations! Enjoy your etirement and I wish you many years of fun and good health.
  4. MH on eBay did not sell. $5200 was high bid and did not meet reserve. That will teach the AH!! But I am sure a boat ride is next. Maybe I should give him a call and offer $4000 cash.
  5. So who is buying this "diamond in the rough"?
  6. Dang and I ship my packages via FedEx. I need to switch strippers shippers.
  7. Happy New Year everyone!
  8. For me, no snow is GOOD!
  9. If the dealer can't tell you about the truck specs I would look for another dealer. Just sayin'
  10. Not sure about the 1674 (before my time at the CAT house) but the 3306 was a bullet proof engine. Not like the early 3400 series. The late 3306 DITA truck engine was rated at 350hp. As for the 1693....a guy told me one time, remove the fuel screw from the pump and HANG ON.
  11. Although the 1693 was a DOHC engine, the 3406/3408 engines were its replacement. And yes the 1674 was the forerunner to the 3306. I don't remember the 1674 being DOHC.
  12. 1 = Mack engine...could be E6, E7, or E9.
  13. Back in the day....3208, 3408/12, 3508/12/16, 3612/16 were V-engines. 3606/08 were inline engines. There was never an inline 3500 series. Larry...Mike is correct...a 903 was a CUMMINS.
  14. Most truck parts supply houses will be able to get you a shield. Give them the length of the shield and the muffler diameter.
  15. Typically you crack the injector line at the injector end. Some things to try, sometimes you can "feel" the line and determine which injector might be missing. Another method it so put the end of a long screwdriver on the line near the injector, put your ear against the handle, and listen for the "thump". Or use a heat gun and check temps at the exhaust manifold for each cylinder. Good luck. BTW, I stayed at Holiday Inn a few months ago....does that count?
  16. I considered a MAC before I bought my new HP laptop with WIN 8.1. A friend is sold on MAC and told me you can get most software in a MAC version. There are also programs to convert PC files to MAC. MACs are more expensive but they don't have viruses and other issues like a WIN PC.
  17. Rumor is the new PA governor wants to raise taxes on the gas/oil industry. If so, then they will be moving out of the state and the gas/oil industry will be DOA.
  18. Tom, Good luck with the new puker. Does it have Internet Explorer 11? If so, GOOD F'in LUCK!!!!!!
  19. The chassis record shows spokes front (42QJA32P14/46QJA31P6) and rear (44QJA32P24/46QJA31P2).
  20. Amen! A phone is for talking, a camera is for taking pictures, and a computer is for email (and BMT).
  21. Yes, it was available starting in 1990 or 1991. Vlad's 1991 has an E7 mechanical. My 1992 MH has a VMAC EM7. Joe, yes the truck is now in Mansfield (per the eBay listing) but was previously closer to Wellsboro, PA. I forgot to mention, I have the build sheet from Mack and it shows the original owner's name and not B&D.
  22. Rob, I am a difficult person to please (surprise surprise). It is just the wifey and me so we buy things as we "need/want" them. Her early Christmas present was a trip to Ireland in August to watch the "Pedo State boys" play. We bought some clothes and books for my mother but she did not fully understand it was Christmas (MOF just last night she asked it if was Easter). So Christmas time is getting to be a "sad" time of year for me. Just give me CA$H (lots of it) and I will buy my own stuff. The MH613 was going to be my belated Christmas present "To me From me". But I have lots of other "stuff" on the "want" list. I hope you and others on BMT received something nice from Santa and had an enjoyable Christmas.
  23. You are correct, it is the same color/specs as B&D. This one was part of an order for B&D. The original owner bought this from B&D and leased back to B&D. B&D was located in Liberty, PA.
  24. Yes as I understand but the listing states "it is being used in their fleet". Lee is not the person I talked with on the phone or emails. Not sure what is going on but it appears "screwed up". One thing I know for sure, the auction price starts at $5000 and has a reserve.
  25. Soak it with PB Blaster for a few days, put tension on it with a ba puller, then rap it a few times with an air chisel. Also some heating and cooling cycles might break it loose. Good luck!
