  1. I am not a big fan of "lowered" vehicles but as they say "different strokes for different folks" and "whatever blows your skirt". It's your truck do what you want. Have fun!
  2. Check the WIKI section. There are posts that decode the model and VIN.
  3. These were used by another BMT member....
  4. Mike, Nice pups! I might be interested in the Cruiseliner. You have any "decent" MHs or Rs (single axle preferred)?
  5. Run a 2X treat fuel additive (i.e. Stanadyne Performance Formula) for several tanks. You may be changing fuel filters often until you get the "crap" out of the system. So stock up. BTW, truck is looking gooood.
  6. I'd give my left one and likely my right one to have a nice B bus.
  7. I would say neither. It is the "feel good" "tree hugger" mentality. There are "incentive$ - read that as tax dollar$" to use fuels other than Diesel. LP engines have pollutants that are different than Diesel. BTU content of LP is lower than Diesel so the engine burns more fuel to produce the same power. The cleanest engine IMO is a Diesel with DPF and SCR. ZERO pollutants! In some areas the exhaust is cleaner than the intake air. Maybe the trucking companies should charge for cleaning the air. I am an engineeer and any technology should be proven by its own merits....not incentives, tax breaks, tax dollars, etc.
  8. To check the fuel gauge....if you can get to the float...hook something on the float and lift it...then see if the fuel gauge changes.
  9. Remember, several brands of batteries may be built by one company (example East Penn), does not mean they are built to the same specs. My batteries are Bulldog brand (Willoughby, OH)(no idea who made them)(these are NOT MACK Bulldog batteries) that I bought in 2011 and so far so good (keep a battery maintainer on them October thru April).
  10. Yardo, Thank you...thank you very much! P.S. Takes one to know one!
  11. Electricity power plants are some of the largest polluters.
  12. Try Pana-Pacific.....www.panapacific.com for a wiring harness.
  13. OD Tom, Do you know who that "Santa" is in the pic? You can watch her "in action" on the interweb. Don't ask me how I know.
  14. Good lookin' fire truck. I don't think the mirrors are original since that style came in the late 60s or early 70s. I think GM was the first to use that style on their pickups. I agree, not many can say they own a fire truck.
  15. 36DDD = 42. yep she's correct....
  16. I been told wild turkey meat is darker and the breasts aren't as large....hmmm, I am a white meat and breast guy.
  17. Vinny was likely out playing in the snow or playing with something else....
  18. PZ 1, Snorkels are like vertical exhaust stacks on pickem up trucks.....want-a-be trucker.
  19. Tim, Have a safe trip! Take lots of pics and you know the saying "no pics - it didn't happen". Enjoy and looking forward to the trip report.
  20. Yardo....Mrs on the top?
