  1. Most starting fluid has some oil in it. Check the label on the can. Pure ether will definitely lock an engine PDQ. And Rowdy....if we didn't have all this legalize crap...what would the lawyers do?
  2. Maybe we will see it at Trucktoberfest and/or Gerhart's.
  3. Marcel, Good to hear you sold your "baby", I feel your pain. But good to know it is going to a good home. BTW, where is its new home?
  4. I am staying at the Rodeway Inn in Akron, PA. It is an "old time" motel, park close to your room door. The rooms are "dated" but clean. All I need is a clean room, decent bed, and a shower. Been staying there for several years. Owners are friendly. It is about seven (7) miles from Gerhart's. Some good eating establishments are Oregon Farms Dairy (south of Akron) and Lititz Family Cupboard just north of Lititz. There is a good Italian restaurant (Piero's) within walking distance of the Rodeway Inn. But don't forget the Clam Bake on Friday night at Gerhart's....good food and good people. Leversole and I did not get "dunlap's disease" from lack of good food. Leslie, Are you brining your golf cart so we can tour the grounds looking at wimmin trucks?
  5. if you get married....it will change.
  6. Paul, A dealer told me many years ago, in 1970 he had a bunch of Super Birds that he could not sell. No one wanted to buy one because of the "odd" looks. Imagine that. I remember the first Bird I saw in 1970. It was white and a HOT looking female wearing a mini skirt was driving it. Left a lasting impression on a kid just out of high school (the car and babe both).
  7. Doug, Thanks for the info. I plan to attend and will arrive on Thursday afternoon. I sent you a PM several weeks ago. Ron, Do you offer an "exterminator" service. The spiders keep multiplying.
  8. And you are married?
  9. Yes but not a basket case.
  10. Remember this one? It sold at a Canton, OH auction in February 2013. I think it went to Wooster, OH but have not seen it since.
  11. Yardo....I vote for the Fogelsville Hotel / Inn. On second thought...guys meet at the TK for NIT class and the wimmin can do whatever.
  12. Yes I would recommend a 2X treat (clean-up) of a multifunctional (lubricity, detergent, etc.) fuel additive.
  13. Yea Larry. You and Al (back in black) can trade burnouts on the hill. Yardo FYI....I don't think Mrs. DCR is fond of TK.
  14. Shame on you Mark! That is like putting a driptroit or hummin' cummins in a Mack.
  15. If you are an Irish coffee fan....stop by the Buena Vista. Supposedly that is where it originated in the USA. IIRC, it is close to Ghirardelli's chocolate. http://thebuenavista.com/home/irishcoffee.html Another interesting place is the Cable Car museum. www.cablecarmuseum.org
  16. Happy Birthday....33 a mere child
  17. Thanks for the explanation. I thought it might have something to do with the exhaust system. BTW, what happened to "best answer" button?
  18. Mike, Thanks for the pics. It has been over 30 years since I was at Mt. Pleasant. Great show....need to get back there someday.
  19. Mackdaddy to the red phone!
  20. Anyone else notice the smoke plume from the RH stack shoots straight up while the LH stack plume trails back. Reason?
  21. GD...Dodge did the same thing.....Bighorn.
  22. Happy Birthday
  23. Do you have a particular make/model in mind? I have a Muncie PTO pump for sale.
