  2. linrick1, Excellent thoughts and I agree 100%. I used to think we were just spinning around but now we are going down the shitter!
  3. Hawthorne....no van. I thought you were getting a rental car? And you offered ME a ride? Maddog....you should have put an orange cone in your spot to save it. Or get there EARLY (like 7a). Or BUM a ride! (BTW, thanks Carl, Fred, Denny, and Randy for 2013).
  4. Take a look in the tank. Is the fuel clear or dark? If it is dark, best thing is to drain it, flush the tank, and pump in clean fuel.
  5. Nice work! I hate cleaning....as soon as it is done, it gets dirty again.
  6. Welcome to BMT! Good luck with the Chebbie and Mack. I am familiar with the Fruitland/Ontario area....NACA (since out of business) was a test fleet for my company. Trebar Kenworth (now Rush) is in the building. And AGL parks some trucks there. We also had storage at Grant's Petroleum. My assistant lives in Meridian. February 2012 was the last time I visited Fruitland. Need to get back there again. Nice country!! Did you work at the Mack dealer in Boise?
  7. Ben! Good to hear from you. Looking forward to seeing you guys at the show. Have a safe trip. If you promise to burn a few dogs (not Macks), I will definitely be there. Talked to mike69mackman and DCR on Tuesday. Denny and Ruth Ann will be there in their coach and Mike with his camper. Party time at the camping area! Pimpin? You need some Winfall wimmin!
  8. Oh BARRY!...Are you planning to have BMT nametags this year? Other items: BMT members don't forget to show up at Watt's tent on Saturday for the nooner BMT group cluster picture. Pass the word. I am headed to Macungie on Thursday morning (leaving the farm by 7am) via PA Routes 36 and 26, US30 (stop for fuel in Everett), PA Greenstamp, I-81, and I-78 to Fogelsville (hotel). Anyone else going my way? Driving to the show after lunch and hotel check-in. Doug M - TK nuns-in-training seminar on Thursday at 6pm????
  9. Thanks for the pics. Any info on the red dump truck on the bottom?
  10. That pic does look like Leslie! I wish my 5-speed was like a 12-speed....no orgasm for me, not even an arousal.
  11. Excellent work and attention to detail! Very nice!!!
  12. These two RDs (??) are a mile from the farm and have been sitting for a couple weeks. There is a green ribbon on the LH mirror bracket. Not sure if they are for sale or just "sitting idle". NES&L's business seems slow but I see their trucks on the roads. Just not the Macks.
  13. Mike, Thanks again for all the pics. A BMT group pic to follow???
  14. Right Larry...the website is www.straightstack.com. It is a forum similar to BMT. Do some searching and you will find the thread about the run. I am planning a run in central PA, not sure just when but the route will likely be old Route 22 and Route 30. Youtube....search for Tombstone Run
  15. That's what I was thinking.
  16. Nice pics Mike! Really like the single axle Superliner and R.
  17. To show how much better/nicer the Superdog is in comparison.
  18. I know Honda's have a great reputation but you pay for it too (not in my budget nor am I using it regularly). I can buy several HF generators for the same price. If one of the HF generators goes bad, I can pitch it or use it for spare parts. I heard rumor that HF engines are Honda "knock offs" but certain the parts are not interchangeable. What is interesting when I compare brands and similar wattage, the engines are the same size. Is this a coincidence or are they actually the same engine? Leaning toward Generac...the engine and assembly are made in USA but not sure about the generator itself. Maybe I can make enough money from parts at Macungie to buy a Honda.....I will have a "generator donation bucket" but I refuse to ring a bell. Maybe I can get a TK girl to assist with the donations. UPDATE: Home De-POT has the Generac GP6500E on sale for $569 but no stores have it in stock and it can't be ordered for delivery to a store. Go figure!!
  19. Thanks for your thoughts. I guess I will have to start a new search. Being an engineer I like to do research and it's cheaper too. The search continues.... BTW, most stuff these days is made in China. Difficult to find North American made merchandise. Maybe I should just buy a loooonnnnggg extension cord instead or invest in a few hampsters and a wheel.
  20. Getting ready to pull the trigger on a portable generator to use around the farm, backup for storm outage, and eventually as power for my trailer living quarters. Used Onan generators (if you can find good ones) are at least $500 but are not portable. And I know "you get what you pay for". I have been doing alot of research and the HF generators seem to be the best "bang for the buck". They also have good reviews. I narrowed my choices to the following: 3200W rated/4000W peak (212cc) = $299.99 5500W rated/6500W peak (420cc) = $489.99 7000W rated/8750W peak (420cc) = $529.99 (electric start - battery not included) You cannot use the 25% or 20% discount coupon on generators.....bummer! I did some calculations and a 5KW-6KW would be adequate but for an extra $40 the 7KW would be the one to buy. Although I probably could get by with a 3KW-4KW unit. Decisions, decisions! Would like to buy one with an oil filter and hour meter but most do not have these features. Any experience or "words of wisdom"? Thanks! Ken
  21. Saw this on Yahooie this morning.... https://autos.yahoo.com/news/famous-car-collector-ron-pratte-auctioning-off-entire-183011235.html
  22. Mike, Nothing like a little PB blaster, a hammer, and a few choice words. Works most of the time. See ya in Macungie!
  23. Staxx, That is the hitch plate and hitch that I am seeking. Will it fit my MH? If so, do you want to sell that hitch plate and hitch?
  24. Sent you a PM.
  25. Leslie's trailer has a queen bed.....need I say more?
