  1. Marcel's MH has an extra rear axle. The extra weight will prevent it from nosediving.
  2. This issue surfaced at a Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) meeting several years ago. Late model Cummins ISXs had an issue with oil and fuel filter plugging. They "blamed" it on the oil and fuel. Let the finger pointing begin continue.
  3. MINUS 8,9, and 7 forecast for M, T, and W. Highs on T and W are single digits.....BRRRRR! 30 degrees forecast for the end of next week. It will feel like a heat wave. The propane bill for January will be OUTRAGEOUS!
  4. Yep, JD 430 3 cylinder Yanmar Diesel. Not many out there in good condition. The 420 and 318 Onan gassers, 332 Yanmar Diesel, and 322 Yanmar gasser still bring big $$ for nice ones.
  5. I say "DANG NICE EXCELLENT WORK"!!!!
  6. Is there a hose clamp near? I have seen clamps "loosen" in extremely cold temps. Now that I mention this I need to check the MH and my tractors...all are in the "deep freezer".
  7. Here we go again....fine snow all day on Tuesday with total of about 5". Low this morning is -7! Windy so there will be a lot of drifting. Forecast is for single digit lows and teens for highs till later next week. "Warm" this weekend in the low 20s...woohoo! At least we are almost thru January. Too dang cold to do anything....outside and inside.
  8. The Mack Museum is a great resource. A "nice" donation to the Mack Museum would be in order.
  9. Nice pics and nice shop. Thanks for posting. The new steering wheel looks good.
  10. what ice cream?
  11. kewl!
  12. Sorry to hear your story but what do you expect from a person who can't put the mirrors on correctly (both dogs facing out). BTW, the price is 2.500 (2 dollars and 50 cents?).
  13. Cheaper than a nursing home
  14. When I worked at Hagerstown, I was able to get a ride in one (1985/1986). Nice ride.
  15. What is attached on the rear?
  16. Still looking for NOS grille sections (6MF530M and 6MF531M). I contacted several "chrome" shops but nothing (business must be good). Any help locating NOS parts is DEFINITELY APPRECIATED.
  17. There are also several swap meets at Carlisle, PA. Likely the only one that might have parts is the Truck Nationals in August. I never attended the Truck Nationals so I do not know what you will find. Macungie and SPAAMFAA would be the main meets to possibly find parts. Link to Carlisle Events.... www.carsatcarlisle.com
  18. Now you know the origin of the "Big Horn" name on your 2500....although no resemblence, just a name.
  19. Pics samples or it didn't happen.
  20. I went to bed at 8:30p.
  21. Graphic Image Format = gif
  22. Thanks for the comments. I agree....likely choice is rechrome. Still looking for NOS parts but so far no luck.
  23. Look out for low flying drones.
  24. Do search on Google and you will find answers. From what I can find, it will not go against your CSA score unless there was a DOT driver/vehicle inspection at the time of the violation. And overweight will not go on your driving record. Disclaimer....I slept at the Holiday Inn.
  25. I was able to get a good close-up of the chrome issue on the "NOS" grille. I tried some chrome polish and it seems to help but you can still see the fine "pits" in the chrome, not a smooth mirror finish. Bottom pic is before polish. Thoughts?
