  1. Who is going to attend this auction on Saturday? I plan to be there, just to look and touch. Mrs. Farmer may be with me so I am 99.99% sure I will NOT bid on anything. But I am likin' the white F and blue B. But then again, there are the RD bucket truck and CF pumper....decisions decisions. Does anyone know if there will be parts auctioned or just complete trucks? I did not see anything on the sale bill about parts.
  2. Both actually. I could use the bucket around the farm (trim trees, etc.). I do like the truck (RD, single axle, EM7, and T2060). I would like someone who is close to put an eye on it before I bid.
  3. Very nice looking CF! Looks like a fire truck has moved up on my "wanted" list.
  4. Welcome to BMT. Awaiting pics.
  5. That is kinda how I feel. If I bid on something, I am good for the money. I may use a credit card but I should not have to give them the info just to bid. When I personally go to an auction, they take your personal info including driver's license number. They never ask for a credit card or bank info. This is what I am looking at but again because of the CC issue, I will sit back and watch. If someone wants to bid for me, send me a PM. http://www.municibid.com/detail.asp?id=17866
  6. PC-11 discussions started in 2010. Backwards compatibility is going to be an issue and Nat Gas is another variable. Potentially a fleet may need to stock three (3) different oils. EPA regs are always the driving force for new oil catagories. So thanks to the EPA for all these changes.
  7. All this talk about "Snow Removal Stuff"......winter arrived during the night at Poverty Hilltop farm. Oh, and PennDOT put that "white crap" down too. Here is a pic I took this morning. Let's start talking about air conditioner repair.
  8. The ones I saw (about 10) at Adelman's were intact. I read on BMT the frames were cut. However, considering the MH is long gone, I doubt many if any are left in yards. I have a UPS MH parts book and they had a few "interesting" options that I would like to find.
  9. I can blame it on FWD..... http://www.municibid.com/detail.asp?id=17866 States it has "structural deficeincy"....I sent a note asking for an explanation.
  10. You and DCR need to get together.
  11. Anyone near Mansfield that could look at a truck?
  12. Has anyone bought an item on the Municibid site? I am considering registering but they want credit card info before you can bid.
  13. Does anyone know of any salvage yards with old UPS MHs? Adeleman's in Canton, OH had several but are all gone. I am looking for a few "special parts" that were installed on their MHs. Thanks!
  14. You interested or just posting? This would be a nice Christmas gift for someone's "significant other". The more I think about it, this would come in handy for trimming trees, etc. at the farm. Hmmm....
  15. Thanks for the info. I will do some checks.
  16. Good to see these old Dodges still earning their keep. My late dad's 1990 D150 Club Cab (36K miles) has a 360 engine. When he ordered the truck I talked him into opting for the bigger engine. Always liked the 360...basically a stroked 318. This one has a 4speed OD automatic and the engine has a throttle body rather than a carburetor. Maybe someone here can help with an issue. On a warm day, the engine seems to idle rich and you can smell gasoline. But it runs great on the highway. I had the local garage check for codes and there are none. He suggested new plugs, wires, rotor, and distributor cap (still original ones) which I replaced but no difference. I am thinking a sticky EGR valve. Would this cause it to run rich? Other suggestions? Thanks! The manifold absolute pressure sensor was changed at one time. Would this cause the rich idle? Since it is a low mileage original, I thought about sprucing it up and taking it to truck/car shows. Another project "on the list". UPDATE: Some of you have seen the D150 but here it is again....
  17. There are several email notifications you can set-up in your profile. Go to "My Settings" and then "My Notifications" (along left column).
  18. Nice! Happy Veterans' Day to all that served. And THANKS!!

  20. Come on down! Thanks! I looked in the parts book and do not see a check valve between the compressor and the tank. I will look at the line the next time I see the MH. There is a check valve in the line at the "secondary" (left side) tank. As I type this reply, I am thinking there is also a small leak "down stream" of the secondary tank or the check valve is leaking. Otherwise it would hold air pressure. Does this make sense?
  21. No air dryer, no trans shift knob (T2050), no internal trans air leak. Check valve in the primary tank? Where is it located and can it be replaced? I know....leave it alone and move on.
  22. I like it! Hope it makes Macungie or Gerhart's. Want to see it in person. Thanks!
  23. Very nice. What is the color? White?
  24. Your E7 may be a mechanical engine, however it has an electronic governor. Either a V-Mac I or II. Did anyone check the "idle shutdown" setting?
