  3. The black soot in the Farr could B the motor has ran backwards easy dun by laborin the motor @ idle revs n in a nano secound the wheels turn the oposite way Before U start the beast have a neat fitting steel plate to cover the Farr inlet as pictured above just in case it wants to run away Also when a Screemer takes offf U stangle it by restricting the air .......... but a screemer will try and get fuel or oil any way it can by sucking oil up past the piston rings, blower seals or anywhere it can Screemers can also keep running with some of the parts missing or broken cya

  19. Hi Jenn others will correct me where eye B rong With the engine running the compressor builds up air in a few air tanks th@ B 4 air wipers, brakes, radiator shutters etc when the tanks have about 90psi a dump valve then starts fillin the big air start tank. normally U dun switch off engine until air tank pressure is a constant 120 psi normally means air start tank is full here on the udder side of the world in Australia Mack had mainly air start as standard fitment for the B61s there was a lever under the seat that was a mechanical lever to dump a big heap of air to the air stater about a 1" diameter hose to get a lot of air real quik to the stater So from the big air tank a large 1" d aeroqip hose ran up under the floor where a big dump valve is th@ is controlled manually to dump the air into a Ingersol Rand air start OR on some V: they had a electric solinoid type of valve to do the same job acuple of our Macks have the electric solinoid mounter on the fire wall and with a flat battery U could use a ball point pen to push up into this solinoid but first U need air in the tank..... U could use your shop air to fill the airstart tank Best-O-Lucko leme kno what U find cya
