  1. This is an aluminum frame that had not been stretched, they stretched 5 of their other cab over transtars. I also purchased his dad’s 73 transtar that is almost flawless
  2. They did mow with a john deere 620 for many years….
  3. My friend purchased this truck from the original owner in 1971 when his dad won the contract with john deere to haul the new 4020’s from the plant into Kansas and Missouri. He owned it until he passed about 10 months ago. I bought it from his son. It was last tagged in’93 I believe
  4. Thanks for all the responses, I work long hours and don’t get online often but I see I need to change that. There’s definitely some history with this truck, I first saw it when I about 6, I’m now 55. I attached a couple more pictures. It had a freak accident when tilting the cab, when it went over center a cylinder cap pulled out ( aluminum threads stripped off) and the cab didn’t stop, obviously, i have a machinist that can make a steel cap but figured the windshield would be the hardest part to get my hands on. Much more to tell just naot any good at typing in a phone
  5. I'm new to the group and I own a Mack truck, LOL. I actually own a 1967 Fl700l that I purchased from a family friend's estate after he passed away. It's a running and quite drivable truck that has been sitting for many years. Does anyone have any leads on where I can find a windshield? It got broken in a small accident I do plan on restoring in the future but need a good windshield at the moment, thanks.
