  4. Hi all.just a few questions... 1)front axle wheel seals and oiler caps...Mack part numbers are 32 QF 245 oil seal and 120 MF 268 oiler cap.19QF324 oiler cap gasket Can anyone tell me the Stemco part numbers for those parts. 2)is this the gearbox oil check/filler bung on the Maxitoqure box and is the gearbox and range changer lubed by the same oil as there is a square head bung on it too.just being careful as i had a disaster a few years ago with a 4X4 where what i thought was a filler bung turned out to be part of the gear selector .. result...box out for a rebuild🥶 .. 9. Hi all,My son and i have just bought a 1982 Cruiseliner and we got to thinking just how many are left? We believe ours is the only one here in Ireland and so far we only know of one in the UK and three on mainland Europe. We were wondering if there are more over here and how many are known to exist in the US and Australia or anywhere else in the World. We read somewhere that 15336 were made between 1975 and 1983.anyone have an idea??? Paul. Heres a picture of our Cruiseliner.
  10. Wow thats a really cool truck Joey.love the shop you work in.we are working outside on gravel...if it rains we are wet through.still love doing it.its all about the Mack!!!!
  11. Hi Mark T i will look into the idea of changing over to grease in the wheel bearings. It is a hobby truck that wont do much milage. Thanks jojo for the kind words.Like you we have full time jobs and it is a project for my son and I.It will take time to get the truck just how we want it.what truck do you have. Paul
  12. Thanks Paul,we will look in the places you decribe for the numbers.we have tried all the part suppliers in Ireland for stuff for the Mack but there is just no parts available over here as Macks are as scarce as a back tooth for a hen..... We cant even get a fuel filter here. We would love to go 10 stud wheels to make it even more like Pig Pens but its down to dollars.we are ordinary blokes working ordinary jobs and doing this as a life long dream. Paul
  13. Hi guys,we have no luck in finding the chassis number yet.could it be behind the shock absorber tower?...dont want to start taking bits off if we dont have too.we also need wheel seals and oiler caps for front axle.nobody over this side of the world even know where to get Mack parts so if any of you could recommend someone in the US who migjt ship them to us we'd be very thankful. Paul
  14. Hi.Many thanks for the replies.we have looked on the frame around the steer tyres but found nothing so far.The engine is an EM6-300 with a Maxitoqure gearbox Mack tandem with Camelback springs. It drives really good.It does need front wheel seals and passenger wiper doesnt work.Theres also a lot of electrical issues on it which we think are bad earths. The truck was built in allentown PA but was exported to Kuwait when new but was never used and sat in storage for 7 years before being re exported to the Uk.It worked in the Uk for 5 years and then it was restored for shows only for a few years. The person who sold it to us had it in storage for almost 20 years. It is overall in fantastic condition and yes we do intend to paint it in Pig Pens colours....Thats as much as we know about it so far. PAUL
  15. Hi all,my name is Paul O'Brien and im from Drogheda,Ireland.I have been intetested in anything with an engine and wheels since i was born.In 1978 i saw the movie Convoy for the first time and fell in love with Pig Pens Mack Cruiseliner and promised myself id own one someday.Well that day has come as my son and i have just bought an 1982 Cruiseliner. Now Macks are thin on the ground in Ireland,in fact our Cruiseliner is the only one in Ireland,so im hoping this site can help us with information about parts repairs and so on.Both my son and and I are mechanics and I also drove trucks for a living for 16years.The mist pressing issue now is we have to submit our cruiseliner to the customs for importation as its currently on UK plates. We need to know where the engine and chassis numbers are located as the customs need to see them on the truck. We have no idea where they are and dispite serching with wire brush and WD40 in hand have come up empty.any help would be greatThanks Paul. Some pictures of our Mack
