    Sounds like a great place to live to me...Growing up here in Drogheda city we had only one supermarket and loads of small shops selling anything and everything.Now we have 6 supermarket and very few small shops.The staff in the small shops knew all about what they were selling but now you'd be lucky to get a grunt outta the supermarket staff.....the times they are a'changein' to quote a famous singer.....     Theres a question.Id like to flush the cooling system on our Cruiseliner.So what is the best chemical/over the counter stuff to use...and how much would you use in the system??? Paul

    Thought about doing just that but I want to be sure with the steers anyway.If the rears blow its a hassle but of the steers blow....well..... I was in contact with a guy today who said army tires in that size should be available but would be very rough rideing.Hes getting me a contact number of a crane hire company who use tires in that size. Paul

    Theyre about 22 dollars for a 20 pack in Ireland today.I dont smoke,never did and im sure happy I dont at that price..... Paul

    Do they still run the steam specials? I love the names of the American Railroads.I really enjoyed working the steam locos,hard dirty work but very enjoyable.Im stood down from it as im over 60 and the health and safety office wont allow over 60s to work them.More pussy foot rules,Men worked them into their 70s back in the day....     Iv had no luck in finding tires yet Geoff.It seems 24in tube type tires are just not available here in Ireland.Iv made contact with a group who restored a 1933 Dennis fire truck which has 1200/24 tires.They got new tires and tubes for it in Northern Ireland but the company who supplied the tires went out of business.It seems I might have to change to 10 stud hub pilot wheels but thats going to be very expensive.Many thanks for your advice and interest in our problem..     A guy who lived just 7 miles from me had one of these trucks.It was a 2 axle and I saw it many times over the years.I dint know where it is now as the guy passed away and his collection was sold off.He told me it was a very simple truck to drive but with just forward and reverse but it would go at the same speed either way....I also drove steam locomotives as I was a volunteer driver with the Railway Preservation Movement here. A Great experience....... Paul

    Id say your right Paul.If you look at our Cruiseliner you'll see headlights not spot lights mounted in the bumper.this is to comply with Euro regulations on headlight height.The original headlights are too high for full beam so two full beam only lights were placed in the bumper...... Paul

    10,000 sq ft shop....you lucky sod.Iv a 40 by 30ft wide open space with gravel to work on our truck.Still ya gotta work with what you have I guess... Paul
