Sorry for the late update it’s Ben a busy week or so.
ended up taken both turbos to the turbo shop, we messed with them on the counter for a bit pulled some measurements, and got the answer of it would probably work but not recommended so I hopped on the ole Interwebs and got a 3.5” to 4” boot, a 20 degree aluminum 4” pipe, and a new section of 4” boot. Pictured belowalso went to the local hydraulic line shop and came up with an oil feed line. Not a big fan of it gonna redo it when I get time.
anyway pre oiled the turbo, let it run for awhile cause the turbo sat on a shelf for a few years. Took it on the first drive after awhile of idling and retorquing bolts.
drives better then it ever has, spools up a tad bit faster and seems like it pulls good. Haven’t put a load behind it to see what it does but definitely seems a lot better.
