Mack EM6 300 Valve cover bolt torque?

This is what it was replaced with, one piece but with the weird overlapping joint in it. Everything was wiped off before assembly, cleaned the groove out in the valve cover with brake cleaner and pushed a rag along the whole groove with a screwdriver. I guess I don't know why it's still leaking.

Replaced valve cover gaskets on my Mack EM6 4 valve and after a test drive it is still leaking, I had torqued them to 17 ft. lb. was wondering if anyone would know the actual specs.

My truck has the same engine and the fuel filters are a Napa 3219 and 3218 or Baldwin BF876 and BF877. Hope this helps.

1990 R Model hole in dash between tach and speedometer.

Recently bought a 1990 Mack R Model, on the dash between the speedometer and the tachometer is a small round hole in the dash what is supposed to be in there? There is a small indicator light bulb that is illuminated back in behind the panel and I'm assuming that it's part of whatever is supposed to be in that hole. Help would be appreciated.
