For Sale.... Mack Cruiseliner. 6x4. Only One in the Country. Built in 1982 Registered in 1987. Ex Ruttle Plant. Left Hand Drive. Manual Gearbox. Historical Tax. Near Brake Chambers On Back Two Axles. Near Air Pipes. Top Of Gearbox Rebuilt. Recon Turbo. Upgraded 350 hp Engine. 4 New Hadley Air Horns. Steering Column Recon. All up and running just needs a few bits to finish off main ones been a new stop cable and needs the interior doing. £30k ONO - (NO VAT). So after a lot of thought I have decided to let the Mack move on. The only reason is due too something else that has come up what I’m keen to get and do up. As you all know over the last 12 months she’s had a lot done to her to make her the truck she is today. I will try list some of the stuff what has been done. The main thing left to do is the interior of the cab but it’s a good place for the new owner to put there mark on it. So she’s had a 2nd hand engine with a slight overhaul now 350hp. New rear chambers on 2nd and 3rd axles. All the brakes stripped down cleaned and freed up with new hub seals where needed. Top of the gear box stripped down and new orings and seals. A recon turbo. New air pipes and water pipes all over. A nice paint job to give her a fresh look. She does need the odd bit of mechanical work to just finish her off but nothing to serious but will try get them done before she is sold. The truck is type approved and uk registered so can be put back to work and this is a big bonus with the current rules and regs with the American trucks at mo. Hmmm that might be never thought of that I will have a look. Yeah it is a 2valve I’ve had to put a new lump in. It had a 305 hp now it’s got a 350hp

No bud just looked and it says engine brake not exhaust brake

it does have an exhaust brake toddle switch on the dash I was wondering what that was for

Do you have a pic of the switches for the throttle and the clutch pedals by any chance ? Is it just that spade connector on top on rocker cover what powers them ?

Afternoon all. Can I wire the Mack engine brake to a push switch on the dash. I guess it’s just a feed to the spade connector on top of the rocker cover ? Then do it threw a relay etc ? It’s the 350 E6 engine. Cheers Nathan

Evening all I’ve just put my cruisliner back together but I can selected reverse neutral low or direct. When I try too a valve on the side of the gearbox is exhausting and that’s in any position. Any ideas ? Cheers Nathan

The original belts have stretched so when they face me new ones there too big I will just take them back and see if they can get me the size smaller

Hey all me again 🤣🤣 I’m changing my e6 300 hp to a e6 350 hp. The only difference is the sump is a lot deeper on the 350. My only problem is the 350 didn’t come with a dipstick. Would the 300 and 350 be the same dipstick even tho the 350 has a deeper sump ? Cheers Nathan

I have had it half way out but the. Wouldn’t come any more and didn’t want to force it etc. I might just put a new seal in ( when ever it might turn up ) and keep the bearing as a spare

If people are thinking the play is normal I can always just keep it as a spare for the time been and see what happens. I deffo don’t wanna split the box to do the bearing

I’ve ordered a new bearing anyway and a seal as the seal was leaking a little bit
