  3. From the album: 85 MH Restore

WTI fenders rino lined on the front. Painted the new camaro Green
  4. I just bought 2 new steel air tanks from the local dealer and man are the expensive... $212.00 a piece. wish they would have put rubber under the straps from the factory. I wouldnt have to buy new ones if they did. Now on to paint em..
  5. I have taking the supply pumps off before and compared them like this. The guy from the local pump shop said to put the pump in bpth hands (roller facing away from u and fingers on it) try to pump push it in by tightening your grip. The old one icould squeeze a little and the new one was impossible. It may have just been a one and a million shot but it I sis notice a difference. As a note to some of u guys the pump shop did say the 350 supply pumps did flow a little more than the 300s.
  6. My friend John had the stock E9 turbo rebuilt and re-worked at the same time, and he said the reworked made more boost than the holset and out performed it. He advanced his pump timing 3 degrees and tuned the pump up as much as it would allow. Hs said he could pull Mt. Eagle ( from a get on ramp at the bottom) 92,000lbs. and top it at 75 mph while passing 2 junk Petes ( that where empty). He put on many heads due to loose valve seats, from getting them to hot the day before. He put on a set of Dale Francis heads and never had a problem again. 6.5 mpg and tons of power.
  7. The valve seats are known for getting loose if you get them hot. Mack doesnt press them in as hard as Dale Francis does.
  8. Laser cut ones. But u shouldn't need em unless u want to buy em.
  9. We use one on our pulling truck. I think it would be a great upgrade. U will need more fuel for sure.
  10. I dont have a set, but my friend has a build sheet to his Superliner that had factory dual breathers . He would be happy to give u all the #'s for the purchase of the proper thingwat the local dealer. My # is 217-202-6324. Later ~Joey
  11. @ Bubbamobilin Im restoring my Mh at a friends house, and thats all I here is Cat this and Cat that. I keep telling him he better quit talking crap about that E9 cause he better have something when he decides to tie into that thing.... He just laughs and calls it a pooch!
  12. My friend John says U will throw rocks at everything else!
  13. Nope! KW wheels I do believe. Im trading em out with that red KW in the back ground...lol
  14. just be careful not to get em hot whith stock (factory) mack heads. They will drop a valve everytime..... My friend went thru 3 heads before he bought heads from Francise. He talks to Francise all the time and is building a pulling truck with all his components right now..... Anyway My friend John says Dale Francise pushes the vavle seats in twice as hard as Mack does and keeps the vavles from getting loose and dropping. In my eyes Francise is a Mack genius and will steer u straight every time. I cant wait till mine is done so I can pass Petes.......
  15. just a painted up fuel before the rino lining. fenders mounted with the rino lining on.
  16. bring back the e9 too!
  17. Some paint that I put on the frame and more later.....4 gallons worth lol...
  18. They are hand made out of steel pipe. cut with a cut off wheel or a die grinder. Me and a friend are gonna start making them and selling them. they take a lot of time and patients. Lots of man hours.
  19. If it was an H2 Kawasaki 750 Id be on it....
  20. Francise Engineering is the place to go. Dale has everything. The only hard part about changing the timing I can see is the fuel pump itself. But its just a money thing there. I always wanted to get rid of the cam and use a soleonoid to move the vales. The cam and push rods are the only hold up for high RPM's.
  21. No its not a Magnum, but it does have the E9 in it. As for the light bar clearance issue. I cut the square tubing and notched it up into the frame. It sits no further back than the frame rail itself. I did move the 5th wheel anyway cause of the fenders. I put a 5th wheel slide all the way to the back of the frame to help get under trailers and to clear the fenders too. Ive put alot of thought in it all and hope it works as planned.
  22. Sorry the 3rd pic was sideways. I didnt notice till it was to late. Its just an old 85 MH, but its mine and its gonna be sweeeet when I get it done. And those are light bars on it that I made out of steel. I can make them if guys like some bad ass stuff... Later Joe
