We have had major issues with a 2008 MP8 in a CXV. Have replaced the complete dpf muffler assembly once, now has failed again. Engine temp warnings, etc... filter is clean, etc... Truck has had a surging problem / lack of throttle issue for months as if the turbo or vgt was not right, but no error code. QUESTION - can a failed turbo cause the DPF muffler to fail due to excess heat / fuel/etc??? We have replaced the sensors for the delta P and boost pressure, no change.
