  1. I don't see any wipers in the picture but a nice B-model and some industrial equipment of those days. So found nothing that could disturb me enjoying fishing watching.
  2. Happy New Year BMT!! This passed night in Moscow went with no snow on the ground and nearly 3 Celsias above the freezing point. So I was able to jump in the street from the bar where I was hanging with some friends with just a T-short on. Oh, well, some whiskey in a jar helped being warmed up
  3. I made this picture on January 1 2014 in a couple of km from my home. Couldn't resist and made a bit of riding. The weather was about the same as these days. Not warm though, just 3-5 degrees above the freezing point.
  4. Right at the moment you can't find any snow in Moscow. At my property 15 km away of the city ring a couple of small hills are the only traces of me cleaning the drive way a couple of weeks back. But usually we have 15-25 cm of snow covering the ground at this time of a year.
  5. Happy Birthday!
  6. Happy B-lated B-day! And Happy New Year too!
  7. Thank you for the tip guys. My military Mack has the seat bases of plywood with holes too. I have a piece of SS wire mesh net handy. Will sacrifice 4 cut-offs to cover those mice intake ports.
  8. Mack had different models of transmissions during the years and about every generation had 10 speed model. The designs were different, and of the front shaft too.
  9. Because they were willing to sleep in them too. And not every night with a wife or a g/f
  10. Oh yea Indeed, you can observe some natural phenomena when things of such shape get exposed to the open air.
  11. I suppose you'd have better chances with your question asking Renault guys on some European truck forum. But those Frenches talk French. And not more English than you do of French Try Buzzybee.nl. Dutch folks are all over what happen in Europe (and beyound too). They mostly understand English. And your cab tilt setup must be the same as Renault Midliner has. Vlad
  12. Beautiful place. Just still makes me wonder how that rocky pin goes up and down depending of cold and warm weather.......
  13. That's the way people use making advertizement
  14. Three similar threads you made wouldn't be a trouble at all if 3 similar R700's could be shown out for that price Anyway this action couln't be count as a bad thing as long as it helped to find a new home for that nice dog.
  15. Always enjoy seeing your environment. Maybe I once should take a vacation to showel at your place for a week or two
  16. Look nice and clean. What kind of screen did you use to cover the holes? I always thought they're to pass air when you seat down on so nothing good closing them completely.
  17. Except getting out of stock configuration of a classic truck I like the idea. A friend of mine rebuilt factory air suspension of his 1967 Mercedes-600 car with such airbags. Had to rifle through the chart with load ratings and travel limits to locate sutable bags. And ain't Volvo VLX (or so) has such setup as a factory front suspension?
  18. A thought that doesn't leave me looking at this bag is it should be full of $$ to provide a top level resto on a Magnum Superdog
  19. Brocky, Thank you for the tip. Missisippi river itself worth to be seen personally on my mind. I keep on planning one more trip overseas. Just have to get plenty of my ducks in the order before.
  20. Your son made a really beautiful job! You must be happy with the present. But that particulary truck is not an Aussie rig but Dutch one. I tell more, the owner of this F is a member on here and a real Mack fan. I will send a link to this thread to him and I'm pretty sure he will want to contact you and say "hello" to your son
  21. Paul, That's a really beautiful picture, well worth to be printed as a Christmass card. But the thing that really has me scratching my head is I can't fing a Christmass tree and any snow all over it
  22. Broky, It seems unbelivable to me to turn such string of barges, especially in moving waters of river. Sure those guys do that so it means it could be done. I don't think it's easy though. I also spotted a boat coming into a gate a couple of times and entered the chamber it looked like "herring in a drum" as we use to say in such cases here. Don't remember hearing of any place you can attend watching it as a show. Would be funny to.
  23. Short cab, must have steel dash.
  24. What it was originally designed to put into? Cool thing and looks like in new condition.
  25. Thank you for the pics Tom. Wonder how that "boat train" is easy to steer. Neat old Macks. Like the barn too. Merry Christmas to you!
