    I'm in need for one. Although the truck I will fit it on is painted khaky so I'd be easily satisfied with common steel DM part. And talking about the hinge two other parts you attach to hood sides to be unified with the hinge are on my need list also.

    Wow! What a beast! Seems like less work is required relating to a big truck. What is the production year? By the word I have never thought on the matter but in my neck of the woods you can see WW2 Willises from time to time. No after the war one showed out though.

    Aren't those air tanks almost interchangable with RW2 Superliner? Currently I have both tanks off my MH memoved for blasting/painting but lucky they do look having potential.

    The first two pictures look to me like they originally were black and white and someone made them colorful. No, I don't mean wimmins were photochopped wrong. I'm about trucks!

    A modelbuilder overhere made Rubber Duck truck some years ago. He built it in 1:24 using Italery cab. You can see the pictures here http://www.autoinscale.com/?section=article&id=321 I doubt he had any real hood measurments avalible and as I can see now the frame's front is wrong (he made it of an Eastern R-model style).

    Haven't heard about the event. The Moscow raceway is in about 70 km from my location. But as you can see on the pics they didn't use the race track. Daimler engine, ZF gearbox.... All that is very good but far from to be called inexpensive stuff. Unfortunately the politics think on how to sell more of expensive things minimize pollutions. Not just how to get the most of jobs done.

    Hmm.. So far I have only one carrier removed off the axle although met nothing of an issue removing the bolts all over. The axle was off a truck though, laying on the ground.

    Women are sure nice creatures but for some folks they have difficulties to win concurence with trucks. Mike, thank you for sharing. IH firetruck looks neat and uncommon.

    In relation to those yellow machines the big Mack truck looks tiny. The load of beams is impressive. Just difficult to wonder the scale of disaster to get permit for transportation of something like that overhere. Neat pinguin. It seems you had a wrong thing got stuck in the fence..

    Do you guys talk about the bolts to attach brake spiders to axle housings? Just would like to know the place I might need to bend something.

    Wow! Great job! It seems it would be good on my mind for those guys to reproduce in resin castings the parts they scratch built. It could allow others to use them either and bring some $$ to the authors.

    Good luck on freshening her up! I like the way it was painted in the pictures you fosted at the start. As for a matt black F-model there's one already made this way in Holland. Used to attend Mack day fest in Utrecht and Amsterdam. Sorry, can't currently post the picture. The site limits me with only 92kb of upload by some reason. Vlad

    From looking the engine compartment shot I'd say the double cleaners were just connected to the turbo intake by the T-pipe. The engine looks like ENDT-673 or 707 to me. I'm not the great expert on both them though.

    How old are they? Here I still can see three-drum static load rollers. Not a common thing though, just from time to time.
