  1. The most of math seems me "as faster as better" if we talk about a bobby truck. You have a planty of low gears in any heavy truck transmission.
  2. When I was buying my 12.00R24 China cooked ones they were tire/tube/liner sets.
  3. That's what exactly needed to me. Good thing when a truck has Maxi's - no run with no brakes. For the buzzer it works in my 1943 NM. When you switch the key on you can hear it and until the pressure is up enough. But it doesn't sound as a constant "bzzzz". Just "tsick-tsick-tsick". Like an old on-wall clock but 3 times faster.
  4. I doubt you can really get it for 7300. That would be a steal.
  5. That's cool to see it running and you driving! Good sound and looks it goes fast. And I'd say my shifting skills went not much further from what you did in the video.
  6. Many creatures look nice when they are small. Macks is exception
  7. Not the doors only but the colors
  8. They offer 4 tyres only for those 1,400, not 8.
  9. Good job! Thank you for pictures and the story.
  10. He offered it some while back. You can go ower that thread if dig out "Trucks for sale" really deep.
  11. Just can't imagine how many beers. If I even go with vodka I doubt on a chance to make it better
  12. Wow! Seeing the doors on I wonder how many piggy banks were broken. Sure worth what was spent. Great done
  13. From seeing the style of the rear shocks attachment it has Neway. And on the side view you can note no traces of any spring bracket wich could be seen of Camelback or Walking beam.
  14. Ufff... I would say track down the wire and find it but you noted the harness is off. My cab is currently difficult to come along. I might try that in a couple of days.
  15. Paul, that makes sence. And partly answers the question wich recently roamed in some deep ends of my mind - what military NR and resque 125LS have in common
  16. They HAD them. At least in 1945. Buzzer reminder switch.
  17. Great looking unit!
  18. When I saw your truck in person I thought it had E9 under the hood. Probably haven't payed enough of attention that moment since there was a planty of other candies to look at. It was when I visited Matt Pfahl's shop. The truck was in the shape like on the last shot you posted. I remember like it was just yesterday Matt discussed with some of his other guys about the radiator core. I too enjoyed the colors it was painted and the way it was being done. You must be a proud owner
  19. It seems like a new purchased vehicle. Some trucks were avalible as a chassis and cowl shape, with no cab. It could save costs installing a local built cab. But from looking the shape of the hood on the picture that's not Mack.
  20. I like the way the strips are done. They're quite simple about shape but look nice.
  21. The one for sale sure is.
  22. Impressive.
  23. Your door is too probably similar to a R-model door. Sure in case you have not just a R-model. From what I learned playing with such the doors you can't allow any thing of the lock until remove the back panel. It seemed to me a disaster to pass through though. If you will do it with the window up.
  24. You can buy a pile of R-model went windows now. But nobody knows how high they will be about cost and how soon. We never know.
  25. Almost as Maddog said, the warning buzzer switch. The threaded post you've broken might be taken out from the housing together with isolating bushing and swapped out with a similar one. It too probably the same part is also a contact terminal inside of the valve body and might be fabricated of a common screw. A brass one would work better. I'm not 100% sure since haven't taken mine apart yet but it seems to me the way I said and worth a try.
