  1. Wow! From what you said that man who always "on the floor making a harness" and not possible to answer calls has "ein guten appetit".
  2. I wish you plenty of power. We know we can do a lot if we hard enough going out path. What are the plans for the tanker in the future? A big water carrier or some kind of living room masked as a tank?
  3. Dark chokolade color looks good either. The perfect truck!
  4. Ufff... I was just going to Google the history of Thanksgiving feast to be known of what you guys selebrate. That big post above shares alot of facts about. Let's hope all that is now history wich we will try to learn lessons from. Kscarbel, thank you for sharing the story.
  5. Wow! That seems to be an animal! Good luck on the progress.
  6. Tom, thank you for sharing, the loc is sure nice. One thing just bothers me. Did you shoot the same side of the Moon the previous time or the other?
  7. Happy Turkey Day friends!
  8. That Pete picture beats the most of other ones. With probably the only exception that in Paul's post. Thank you for posting Tom.
  9. Thank you for nice looking pictures and the story. Rocks, Macks, Chevy's, and so on, and so on. The road in the last picture too reminds me the one you can see in the very beginning of Convoy movie. Interesting but I think I've seen that shot before. And it was on here
  10. Looks like a bad ground of your directional lights.
  11. Interesting fact that KamAZ engine was bulid originally with 8 separate heads. This desing is still in production with some modifications such as turbos and electronics. Being learned of American truck history I was surprized V8 engines were not everywhere since the most of Russian trucks starting from 60's were V8's. Keeping in mind KamAZ has his roots from Mack it's surprize the engine style is completely different.
  12. Hope you'll get easy turn out on that story. Vlad
  13. I'm not a big specialist as everybody knows and laugh but making repairs on any V8 engine requires more efforts than on in-line one.
  14. Fried Crow might work also. Congrats on moving her from not controlled area
  15. Looks tasty! Glad to hear you have the issue resolved. Putting trim on freshly painted parts is about the most nice part of work. Don't hurry, polish every thing at least a lil bit. Hope the progress will go faster now.
  16. Thre was a talk on that matter a while back. As far as my memory serves there were no usable options excepting original stuff. So Watts seems like the way to go. There are some nuances on how many items you need to do one door, worth to pay attention asking a parts guy on that matter.
  17. The new owner probably too like bulldosers. Or there was another reason in swapping the engine in running truck. Although it's a common thing when a man put his hands on stuff wich is new to him. Getting fresh paint CAT looks nice on its new place.
  18. Locally people cast concrete structures all over a year. When temperature goes lower than the freezing point concrete suppliers add anti-freeze additive. I asked several times and was told from them if I spread concrete at about 3-5 degrees below zero Celsias (freezing point) I might need no additive, just put a poliethilene film onto. Concrete hardening reaction radiate heat and it would be enough just to cover it over. It was said to the case I drop outside, not inside the building. Done it many times myself.
  19. Glad to see your R is getting love! And about that guy... That's not often to go such way.
  20. $4300 for a complete kit doesn't sound bad. I just remember seeing PAI one on the net for something like $9000. Good luck on putting the engine back together.
  21. I think they are still avalible new from Mack both black and stainless. And if the memory serves our Commander-in-chief Barry has them in stock for less or about the same cost as that ebay deal.
  22. Pretty sure a A-model. Swishy, you aren't far from the true. A model could be described as a newer version of E-model with different nose. You can see EH in the pic background.
  23. Maybe it was imported used and from elsewhere? Some chassis shots might clear up the matter of the fact. I remember you or somebody else posted pictures of B-model Macks in Israel. So why this one can't be just one of them? The other reason - if this one exactly was Lanova, there also was a parts truck. You can sure see B-model stock components - the cab, hood, hubs with rims, fuel tank and so on.
  24. Uhhh... From the number of the quotes I would say that's the event of the week on here
  25. I wish that Jag. Just kidding. I would really like to get a such one if possible for that cost with shipping and customs.
