  1. I saw the pictures of that truck posted long while back somewhere. Just the chassis color looked different on them. Always was one of my favorite Macks.
  2. There were many used Macks wich were sold to Iran from the Netherlands either.
  3. Thank you for the thoughts. If I have a AC I'd take it and say it's fair.
  4. I might be interested to buy one of those, the first, wich reproduces AC hood. Would like to put it on the wall. I may offer something like $20 plus shipping. Don't know how crazy it might worth otherwise though. Sorry if my offer is insulting. Vlad
  5. Sounds great! How the event is turned out? I googled "MackDag 2015" a cople of hours back but haven't found fresh pictures excepting a few. Please post some when you have a bit of time.
  6. You're right, I hit that pool once. Not much of me but a friend of mine. He ordered a roll of that 3/4 cooper pipe from the States and got 7/8. There was remark at the bottom of the page in McMaster catalog about them tube sizes. Don't remember what was written there, something like "the sizes listed aren't the actual sizes but some special ones..." Just measure up the stuff you have and ask them to check what they have. If I remember correctly that's about pipes only, fittings are sized correct. Once I had another issue with cloth bitum penetrated pipe lining. To make my pipes antique. Had to order them from Holland. Needed a few but needed to complete the job. Somebody was flying out from Germany in a couple of days and was eager to keep my stuff with. So the shipping was an occasion. Looking the catalog I noted there was 19 mm lining wich must cover my 3/4 tube. But there was 22mm either wich must be too luse on it. Feeling some bad feelings I ordered them both. When I recieved the pack I found out that 22 fit my 19mm (3/4") pipe excellent. And the one that SHULD do it was way too small. I was luckie with that, othervise could get stuck with that job for a couple of weeks or month. Vlad
  7. Hell !! I have never of being heared that. Need some while to boil it up in my brain. British made airplane - sounds impressive
  8. Paul, actually it looks like a pretty weather, might be called it "slightly cool"
  9. Here you go. Seems nothing difficult having correct parts. That's Macungie RW2. Nice Chevy! Good luck on the swap.
  10. There's the old saying overhere. Something like "Everybody talks about his own but a nitty man always about bath"
  11. Paul, there's more thin intrigue in the matter. Mack NR's were used during WW2 for Lend-Lease transit through Iran to SU. Some of them might be assembled from PKD form overthere. This look similarity makes me wonder on the roots of that Iranian model. And the cab you mentioned too looks like built basically as Mack military open cab.
  12. Beautiful area! Have you done with bear now? By the word how was you safe in the tent there? They bears might be luckiely to rifle through garbage.
  13. Ok, will try. Thank you.
  14. Unfortunately I see only the cow wich looks at me and the script "the page not found". Rifled through Scranton craigslist and got this. The adress line is almost the same as you posted the link. Here are some pics from the ad. It's tandem indeed and looks like the diffs are in their place. Wonder wich style and ratio. Is the only way to contact to call him?
  15. Many countries have or had such requirements. For example B-models wich were sold in France looked this way. Happily I'm lucky being off the need to butcher up a truck's face in my country.
  16. Interesting links but I've got some difficulties with reading. My Russian doesn't help. Don't know about the English spoken part of the community though This yellow thing was catched up in Moscow with my friend's camera in this past August. Unfortunately he hadn't time enough to find the driver and talk with him. My favorit of Iranian trucks is this old model. Can you tell my what those trucks phisically are? I mean model, type of engine, years of production. It looks too close to the World War 2 military Mack trucks. Vlad
  17. The link doesn't work. At least to me. Is it a twin screw truck? I'm looking for a set of Mack differentials of 6-6.5 ratio off L or B model.
  18. Don't worry about 10 tonn bridge, hay is lighter than air Seriousely I bought GPS about 5 years back and tried to use it. The reason was the motorbike. To check a map you need to stop, take glowes off, oped on-tank bag and than a map is in front of you. I bought water-proof Garmine, made attachment to the steering column and made a big trip. The most nice part of the story began when I rode into the city of Istanbul. Looked the city map in general, put it in the bag and started. Rode following Garmin. After about an hour when my fingers were good enough to fall apart due to all the starts/stops/shifts etc I stopped and checked out the map. That f**king thing headed me straight! Not along the highways but through the living streets. Having no other trip options found I set the general map of the city and kept direction to the center. Had it done in 20 minutes! Uggh... Used that thing 3-4 more times after that. What is the paint scheme on that tandem firetruck? Is it for fireservice or anything else? Thank you for the pictures.
  19. What a shameful story to part that truck out... Happily now she has much more chances to be back on her wheels and power. Are the rails aluminium?
  20. Swishy M8, Looking the link U posted I'd say th@ bloke knows the correct answer 4 sure
  21. Seeing that I feel myself like I wanted to haul coal whole my life. Thank you for posting
  22. Dear Tommy, I drive sometimes. Don't use to be locked with a chain to my shop together with a brick shithouse. These pics were taken by the ocassison of the same kind.
  23. Might be used as a basis to build a re-sized big truck replica. Sure not a solid vehicle like the one in the ad.
  24. Congratulations on a new headache blue dream truck!
