  1. Looks like you worked too much that week so kept the camera up side down making the first shot. I agree with Tim, your R is one of my favorits from all others I've ever seen on the net. Wish you a long while before you feel a need to swap it with something newer.
  2. Imprtessive inventory of equipment is in that lot.
  3. Those pieces of old iron like getting attention. That is what they have in common with women. On the other side issues and brakedowns are a part of owning and loving it. A kind of adenture. Seems like in the both cases though. Glad to here you guys came home safe.
  4. That's a nice place you're able to work with your projects. Just a fun putting your eye on lovely old pieces of machinery in pauses when you stop doing a hand job needing a bit of thinking. The picture for you to cheer up a bit knowing you're not alone with MH front torn down apart. It was made in the spring and now the parts aren't back together.
  5. Looks like a nice day. Just ran out of likes.
  6. Paul, does your one have 672 or 673? 672 is Lanova.
  7. I agree. If more sure is needed just make ten full revs and divide the result to get the sharp figure.
  8. It wouldn't be a lost time to make some prop shaft flange turns and count how many the hubs do. Than make a math and get the actual ratio.
  9. Love the flames!
  10. Tom, thank you for posting. That RW wrecker has very nice color scheme on my mind.
  11. Good progress BC. Seems there will be the part Trois though. A bit off-topic, there's a big yellow locomotive of a beautiful old days style. Keeping in mind the bus project I might suppose it's yours either
  12. Randy, thanks the great for sharing so many show pics of excellent quality! Real pleasure to see being not able to attend personally. Many nice rigs I haven't ever seen before. Love white/bronze B81 wrecker and green L sleeper cab with hard nose. Hope you wouldn't see anything wrong that I saved some of them pictures onto my hard disk. I see Mack museum has good progress on WW2 Mack NM they restore. Funny thng some while back the museum contacted me having a need of the oil filter housing for that truck. Unfortunately I hadn't it but redirected them to Netherlands and the filter came to the adress. It was very nice being helping the museum folks.
  13. Best Birthday wishes!
  14. Thanks Paul, just have laughed my a$$ off!
  15. So... is one more military bad required in the future? Congrats! Good luck on the new project.

Mike, I just can't put "like" to your post.
  17. Try Stemco.com (or something like that) and Timken.com. There's a great stock of seals of incredable different sizes. Having parts# from there you might find exact seals in many places. Just google the #. They seals aren't heavy so mail box cost wouldn't bite you hard even from the States. I did that when was looking for the seals for my Mack MH. They were of some strange size either and I ended up with Stemco from my local dealer. All that is good if you have time enough to wait though.

My calendar tells me today is September 11th. I remember well that sad day. It was translated on TV overhere. Hard to belive 14 years were already passed. RIP to the victims.
  19. I'm for a sleeve. Keeping 6 mm in the hub over the seal area seems quite enough to me. It's just not nice to disturb any original part having no really hard need.
  20. Damn! I had so much hopes...
  21. Isn't this a export B model with a hard nose we've discussed about some while back? http://www.besttruck.ir/%D9%85%D8%A7%DA%A9-%D8%AA%D8%AE%D9%85-%D9%85%D8%B1%D8%BA%DB%8C-10-%DA%86%D8%B1%D8%AE-%D8%A8%D8%A7%D8%B1%DB%8C/
  22. Very interesting site. Just too tough to read. You should to do it from right to left. And that's strange but I can't understand the most... I still keep the plan to go over Iran with a motorbike in my mind to see all thuse monsters in person. Not sure it would be cool now having US visa in my passport though.
  23. I asked just because I have a R-model traktor as a hobby truck and have currently either flatbed installed to move some things. Your B looks surprizingly nice with that low sided bad. Might be good to keep it in place and put some frash paint on in the future. That's always possible to put something onto as a ballast.
  24. I'd say they just try to get back their transportation costs. Still looks not bad for the money. The frame seems screwed on from the back picture though.
  25. Nevada... Where's Nevada? How many miles from Moscow? Does anybody eager to tow it to me? I would pay for the fuel
