  1. Looks like a place with lots of pedigreed stuff I can see one more N model in the yard together with B73/75. Bob, thank you for sharing with us.
  2. That's a pretty cool setup, would be perfect for truck racing For real I think it's perfect for jobs it was done for. Paul, pics of Federal are strongly appreciated.
  3. Good toy Rowdy, Now you can bet Tom if collect enough movies to post weekly. You need to pass by Winfall either though..
  4. Good job. Now you have a basement to build your project up. Did you sandblast outside? Or just in the shop??
  5. I LIKE when the most anything is being fixed but can't apply the button to the posts above
  6. Thank you for posting. The grundhogs and Macks are nice although " $973.50...to fix a broken air line" sounds terrible. I can't belive. Yes, I still can't belive!!
  7. Congrats on getting home this fireball.
  8. A lot of interesting to read in this post. Impressed of learning that road could allow to drive up to 90 mph. And thanks for posting to our honored weekly reporter.
  9. I watched about the same picture on my screen either but passer it by paying no attention. I'm too upset having issues, better to not getting them in mind if possible.
  10. It looks nice with that body style. Very clean and beautiful at all
  11. I'd paint the hood for first and get enjoying the whole thing than start to choose a moment to repaint the cab. Or any other way, no matter Nice looking U is turning out, wish you to have enough time spent on it in this season.
  12. A piece of BS again. Hope a not too big piece and the smell doesn't keep its place for long. Wonder how HIS face would look if he came to you to check out the stuff HE was interested in. Did he buy anything in the end?
  13. Those pictures make emotions. Sorry, no more comments.
  14. Don't forget to. I'd like to see the stuff they offer.
  15. Best wishes!!
  16. BC, Your MH box installation is almost the same as on my MH613 of 1991. The R-model I have has no additional holes although I have the only only two absolutely identical R's. Too probably PAI makes a universal box, if I produce them I would do it that way. Interweb search gave me 112USD for PAI FBB-4986 and it doesn't seem bad. Although I would pay 112x1.55 to get them here and I need them almost 4 pieces so it would be $695 Plus inside the US shipping... So now I think to fabricate them locally of sheet metal, maybe using the original end walls wich aren't so bad. By the word Doug Fetterly offered those parts made of stainless steel.
  17. If not a big trouble please share the parts # for those air bags.
  18. Good luck on the event, hope the day will be great. Don't forget to tell to your friends to not only tape but make some pics wich you'll be able to share with us
  19. I made some check out today. Basically both R and MH bottoms are the same. A R-model bottom is fitted to brackets by the 4 holes in the end wall (wich MH bottom has either but they're free). A MH part uses 4 holes in the sides to be attached plus 4 small holes along the bottom to fit air tank support strips (2 on each side). Those additional holes don't take their place on a R-model box so you will need to drill them through if gonna use it.
  20. Maybe a R-model one has no holes in the sides to fit MH mud flaps.
  21. I can't see the steering wheel. The one in the "Road warrior" was an Aussie or NZ truck with RHD.
  22. I looked over them on my trucks and both R and MH bottoms seem to me the same. At least I can say 100% sure I took the alu covers from one to the other many times and they're almost the same, fitted perfect. As I remember PIA had them cheaper than Mack. Don't know any difference in quality, they could be just from the same producent. The one on the picture is a R-model. And in relation to it yours is almost new
  23. They have a lot of pitting from seeing the pics. You should re-fresh the dogs for a good.
  24. Good job I'm going to do about the same on my R. That Donaldsn 4 to 5 muffler is waiting for me on the local dealer's shelf together with the stack. My case seems a bit easier than yours since I don't need to clear up the fuel tank so I'm going to use a part off a dump truck stack wich is Z formed. It's 4 inch and could be put below the muffler. I bought the chrome plated one from ebay by a chance. The muffler painted silver looks neat, hope that powder coat will keep its look as long as everybody said. Thank you for sharing the experience.
  25. I'd like to watch the latest Mad Max if they continue moving R's as the main theme. The one above doesn't look rough though.
