  1. There's nice restored N model in The Netherlands. And how I know, the man has the other one twin screw unit for parts.
  2. Yoke's orientation is an important thing and is determined by shaft's working angles. It's made some special way when engeneering the vehicle and must be used the way as from the factory. So if you think that must be all in line it's not true.
  3. Happy birthday Denny!
  4. I'm pretty shure all that worth the trip. Been in Macungie this past June and got alot of impressions and a nice time. Vlad.
  5. Too sorry Leon, there was a trouble about my son's school holidays. I promise to be next time
  6. Good question, I'm shure many people want to get me for some reason. Maybe someone added me to that wanted list. Aren't you?
  7. Yea, Ryan, sad thing I missed Mack show in Holland this authumn so no another European BMT photo. Late birthday wishes to you.
  8. Don't shame us too much. At least I didn't run Vulva
  9. Sweden is a country of a neat nature and lots of mighty Scanias... and trucks of the other brand we have some special relation to.
  10. Having a trip around Europe I contacted our member form Poland. I'm shure many of us follow his thread about building the model of Superliner. He was in Germany by the work in the neck of the woods along my way home. In the end we had a luck getting in the restaurant for the supper. Nice to meet you Pawel !
  11. Hi folks! I was not active for some last weeks due to a lot of to do and a holiday trip around Europe. The end point was The Netherlands where I kept a set of gears for the gearbox along my current Mack project. By the way I was in Sweden and resolved to visit Scania factory museum that located not far from Stokholm. I found it by the road signs and came in. The girl on the reception desk told me "We sorrily have no trucks in the moment due to a special event we need an empty space for. So we removed them into the garage. But if you want you may go and look the rest". Not a pleasurant surprize but we came (with my son) and found out some interesting stuff. They didn't get some the oldest vehicles out and kept in place a line of engines and some other stuff. There was one more hall in the buliding with the couple rail road wagons in it built by Scania in early years. The subject that really took my attention was, to my big surprize, the figure of the golden bulldog. I read the plate and learned that it was a gift to Scania form Mack trucks with a kind words for their good common work. Vlad.
  12. Yes, Bad Dog, you didn't say about such a small money. I interested over your dad's truck and it seemed to me attractive for the money but not so damn pretty to move my a** from the point to start making deal. I'm slowly looking for a good E9 sleeper machine.
  13. Best wishes! Just always feel yourself as 17 and nothing else matters.
  14. This pair of horses looks great! Hope you always have a bit of time to care 'bout them. I was shure you haven't been missed, just walked somewhere around.
  15. Nice L-model wrecker. It would be nice to see her alive or much better saved and restored.
  16. Too sorry and strange to learn you was limited with your posting any way. I too like all the history you posted, it gave my much education. Lots of interesting facts and I'm shure I'm not the only one who think that way. Hope you and BMT administration will find solution. Many thanks for the work you've done and continue to do. Vlad.
  17. Randy - too sorry to hear about your dad, I too wish him speedy recovery. I see you guys had beautiful days at Gerharts. Thanks alot for all the posted.
  18. Would be nice to see the work in progress.
  19. Let me toss a question wich probably is on many other's mouth - could we see how that misterious B-815 looks?
  20. Looks like a nice old stuff in perfect condition. Thank you for the link.
  21. Congrats on the save. Hope it wasn't too difficult.
  22. Thank you for the fact from Brisbane. I also thought about PAI
  23. Nice looking dog! Have a fun with it. For the price it seems to me as an early Christmas present.
  24. I'm surprized seeing that. Although if the memory serves me good I saw it for sale for $40,000. If it came less than 20 grand I suppose it might go for a work also. Just don't forget - it was in work than in the States. Anyway I'd better like to see it at Macungie or another place around its Motherland. Hope it will come to a good home though.
  25. If the truck is for hobby just keep it as is and put your hands on other areas. Then drive it for some time about 1-2 years and come back to the matter.
