The season is opened

I hoped you don't work hard on that matter because I was shure you had enough your own business. Although you gave me the idea to not restore all the photo and stretch it out from the spheric projection but make it up new. I might be cleaning up the original logo or just use the one you attached to. Anyway I'm not so far yet to repaint the air cleaner. I just plan how to do over R and sadly come into conclusion I should work it out completely, from the rear end to the engine. -
What I did Today:

Cool! Glad to know you was involved in such action. I had to spent 36 years of my life to drive a Mack truck down the road. -
I sure like that Northen Vermont style. Beautiful dress with camuflage vest and the shot gun makes cool emotions. It's good to remember about for a long time. Mike, your son looks like he also did his day at the spring time, the best for such events Paul, the name Maxim is popular here indeed although I suppose it has Lathinic roots from "maximum". It means a one who named so is a sort of "high" or "great".

I can't see the New Girl you announced as well as in you alboum. How long do you plan to keep her off any eye?

Thank you for the advice. I used to test and retest the stuff in my request because nobody will care about me recieving wrong choosed parts. -
Thank you for the sceneries. Ford 9000 looks a beast. The blonde is awesome, a really high rate. At least higher than those sheeps. Although I think last times such wimmins are being not with guys who ready to fill the tank or repaint her car. When we come too friendly to them they just turns ass side to us. Oh hell! Tom, what did you mean by the words "to fill her fluid tank??"

Ted, thank you for the interesting story. I also have Canadian made R-model and would say I like the specifications wich Canadians put to that truck. Long wheel base, big enough and well insulated sleeper, big tanks and so on. I'm shure environment conditions in Canada and Russia are close to each other so it's typical to like Canadian vehicle's performances because they are so usable and comfortable here. The truck is for a hobby though. -

Paul, thank you again, I hope I can work this story out. I'll need carriage bolts mostly and many of them for whole a new wooden bed. Not ready for because I'll need them of different sizes I haven't counted yet. I should make drowings of a body and I started on it. Many questions came on a surface so I contacted Mack museum and wait for the info now. Mail shipping to Russia was too cantancerous when I tried on. Had to wait a parsel for above 8 weeks. Russia now looks and in many cases is a modern country although many state services still used to work their way as it was at Sovies Union times. With only difference they did nothing but asked tiny cost for and now they also don't make their job but the prices are market. I better put my friend's adress in Germany or Holland to recieve a mail and then pick it up myself there. Long time but I know it comes well. I think it's strange to learn such things in 21st sentury although it's the reality. I hope I don't need a catalog so hard, would like to sak you If I definitely don't understand anything. -

Wow, if I saw her right in that forest, I could put he in the bunk with no talks. Just kidding, I'm a good boy Tom, she looks very nice to the environment, just has no shoes and carried some strange blue stuff in her left elbow. Glad to see your art, thanks. By the way, don't you want to work out a good picture of a Mack air filter decal? You should use Photoshop for, you are the great master of. I'm going to reproduce it as a sticker and need to make it up from what I have. -
I have seen well everything you posted including the new pics. Can't add anything new to what I said before. The engine is Mack END, probably 673, I'm not the best specialist on them. Although the original one was ED Lanova 519, had different mainfolds, fuel pump and many others. ALL NR's were factory equipped with them. They were not commonly used engines of later years and difficult to cold start because they were pre-chambered so I see nothing strange if somebody put another more modern Mack engine in the truck. By the way, they looked mostly similar and had many connections of the same kind.

Hi Paul, thank you. It seems those guys have tons of different hardware. Although they look too quick on a deal while asking me to register in the site right after 3 clicks on the items I wanted to see. I shure can order from them because it's the easiest way here to order by a local importer. I just contact supplier and then give the info of what I want, from where and how many. Locals contacted them then, I pre-payed with extra % and don't care about customs and so on. At least it worked good still. -

Welcome! Did the friend tell you we all here like to see pictures? I mean any Mack related stuff you have or any other subjects of your interests. Vlad

Best wishes! To be more popular to the populars. And to keep the company actively to the others.

I bought 3 weeks transit inshurance I could get as I have transit plates now. It cost $20 so no troubles to continue it for the same worth for 3 weeks more. At least I don't need to licence the truck and pay about $800 taxes. Took the truck on the road today and made the trip to the person I planned to buy some Mercedes stuff from. About 60 km one way. There are holidays here now due to the 1st of May Labour day so traffic was not so hard as usual. Had to cross above 10 rail road crossings, a half of them was jammed with cars and trucks. So improved my shifting skills. There was a post by the title of "Double clutching" on days so I got fresh ideas on it. I had no luck on double clutching because the gearbox was being grinding untill I synchronize speed/revs regardless declatched or not. Although I got too important note for me about a clutch brake wich Other Dog described there. I used half clutching when had to slow down by brakes with a gear on. In those circumstances when I couldn't brake with just a gear on and the cluch pedal released. The man I went to lived in a small willage, the road to it was through the forest so it was looked like I was go for woods. By the back way I picked up the girl. Not a hitchkiker but she just lost the hope to get on a bus. So I ran her to the rail road station wich was by my way. She looked sitting too comfortable in the arm chair (there's the arm chair for so-driver from Chevy Van or something like that). No love story though and no photos. I had to make my shifts so had no time for

Paul, thank you for your comment. There was another big post over my current project, you can see there the model I'm going to end up http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/29254-frame-is-ready/page-2 Good point about hardware. It looks to me important so I plan to use 100% SAE bolts. The stuff you can see on the pic is all original from the truck. Just cleaned and halvanized. I had 2 trucks when started or correctly say 1-1/2, so I have got some extra original hardware. SAE is exotic here, it would be nice to avoid metric stuff. Anyway I can not complete whole the project without additional bolts and nuts. For example I will need a lot of carrige bolts with square nuts for a wooden body. There are metrics for sale here only. So I'm going to import them from your lovely country -

Ryan, there are some granites overhere, I see them sometimes in "for sale" section, they are expensive though. I have never seen them on the road, folks told they work on Northen territories were extremely properties are required hard. Just always try to stop myself thinking on my next import. It's so nice to choose from and make plans for an adventure although I force myself to do a hard work to make up the stuff I have now. I spent money for and i'd like to see it in a good shape. It was the reason to start over. -
Good way to go JT. I understood that's not Superliner when started to read this post. On my mind you are doing good dealing with this GMC. She's solid truck with good chances to get on the road without hard investments. So you take a big piece of automotive iron for the money you was glad to spend for. It's not a B although this is your first big truck and she would be able to give you full-colored emotions of trucking and lots of new practice you'll need in the future. I'm a newbie also and shure know you're on the right way.

There are many ways to go on a fuel supply. For example you can put a can upper then the pump and let the fuel go by the gravity. I used another method on the one of my R's to start as a temporary but the second one is equipped that way by the previous owner as the constant solution. The matter of - putting a car fuel injection electric pump into truck's supply line. After a tank and before a high pressure pump. Light it up from a battery and you'll hear the sound of fuel going to a hp pump and backing to a back line. I drive my "drivable" R this way with no actual mecanical pre-pump. And with no issues. Congrats on your first one! I noted your new avatar, had been surprized why you used Superliner pic while looking for a B.

Looks like you can lift an elephant by that fork lift. Or at least the rear end of your LJ.

They are just two different trucks on my mind. Have different sheet metal, frames, suspension and so on. LJ is one of heavy L model modifications so go further from A-model as for example LF. Although they have nothing of a big stuff in common. Some engines and gear boxes migth used intermedial but those engines were used in many other Mack trucks of the time. More interesting to me a difference between A-model and E-model. I know they had different grills although everything else about the out look seems similar. Do they have diff. frames and suspensions? Or did Mack just change a grill and announce the new model?

It's definitely nice. Bobtailing on the back roads

Ryan, you listed out all the components needed for. I spent many years to get it all, now it seems to me I must be happy. What's wrong? Do I need a Superliner to be really happy?
