  1. Don't know what to do.Professional scratch builder required. To make END engine and 2-3 kinds of suspensions. Italery makes Superliner but what the happyness from the truck that has correct hood-cab only. Front axle maybe. I'm thinking now (last years) the only way is to work this problem completely. From the modelling point of view Macks are not so difficult when you have 4-5 cabs, 3-4 engines, pair gearboxes and Camelback plus Air ride.
  2. They had a day cab in stock but it was discontinued. I wanted first to order 2 kits for that reason but stoped myself due to the price.
  3. ...nothing noteworthy. B61 mixer is toooooo noteworthy!
  4. Young superdogs!
  5. How close is a C cab to an L ? Is the central (removable) part of a foor differs only or a floor under seats also ? And how about a cowl in a relation to a dog house ?
  6. Steve, by the way, when I wrote you I always wanted to wright "Steve" but I noted "Stev" in a place of your name. Please clean this conclusion for not making conclusion by me or maybe anybody else calling you a wrong name. On my mind round filters look better on a rounded corner R's as they are. Vlad
  7. The engine seems to me too little. But the price is good. Whole the truck looks very well. And the concave cab (Am I right?)
  8. Interesting to learn more about your EH. Was it originaly painted Olive drab or any commercial color?I have army NM with 707 military version EY engine. It's mono ignition overhead thermodyne engine. And it has Mack 5 speed direct top box without any splitter. Tyres are 10.00-22 but it's the army truck with low road speed. Ratio is about 7.33 though with Timken-Detroit military pattern all wheel drive. Vlad.
  9. Very good looking Superliner. Alloys and brand new 24,5s Can only imagine how much it would be with a E9 and a sleeper.
  10. I have to cut the roof in the middle and put a slice of plastic in. Next fill and sand. The windshield now is a vacuum-formed part you can see at the second shot. But it was made to fit the original opening.
  11. Nice looking machine. Solid and restorable. Welcome! Vlad.
  12. I saw it on a model site and ordered. Because may be... one day... I'll start myself to... to start one more project. This is 1:24 resin trans-kit. Conteins no chassis/engine. Only the cab and some accessories. The producer announces it to fit on any "Italery" American truck chassis. That chassis are particulary the same, with Cummins inside. But on my mind they have neither relation to a true Mack truck. That's why I don't want to start this project - maybe I'll make chassis parts for R and would use them for F also. Although this kit is going to be out of production and I have got it now. I know most people here are in interest for real trucks but I want a mind of specialists. If you look at the pictures of the cab you probably could see form mistakes. It seems to me that the angle of the upper parts of doors is too much and the line of the side water rail has extremal decrease. Originally this line has an angle but here's too much on my mind. Some real cab mesurements required for the best answer but at least what do you think about it guys? Vlad
  13. I need to note I'm using Anglo-Saxon connecting method mostly on this forum. And when I wright "woods' I can think about trees, plancs, stove fuel, japan sticks, matches or other stuff I can put a nail in only. So It's not so easy for me to fix any thin nuances of this language. And I have to sorry sometimes to not feeling whole the colors of a content of cams of warms. Vlad
  14. Fresh paint looks nice! Sorry about your helper. Main reason of the success is your interest and want to progress. Keep it up! Vlad
  15. :)
  16. When I took a car for a show I had to close doors for a while I wasn't near. It's too terrible to see mud from feet and scratches or damages on parts I made by my hands. I also need nowadays to close doors of my cars in my yard because some guys who come for bying parts like to get themselves inside and sometimes try to stoll key hanger or a handle from a radio. There were facts.
  17. Thanks for sharing.
  18. It's always nice to see bright picturtes with Macks. Vinny, what the shit that looks like a cake did you mean?
  19. Yea, I see the party was well enough. It's very nice to see your wonderful faces instead of Macks on avatars. I like them (Macks) too much although enjoy seeing "motley crue". Sorry for not keeping the company. Vlad
  20. Welcome! Don't know how she looks now but the picture seems to me very nice. Tandem with low profile dump... Vlad
  21. Don't know what's really going on in your country politic but it seems to me that old Macks exporting to third countries isn't the uglist thing.
  22. When you have a skill of modern engines it's a big pleasure to work on olds. You're surprizing each time meeting easy or sometimes original solutions. Technic that works mechanically, without digital units. Works perfect after you put your hands on. If you do it with love. If you're planning to take anything apart - use photo. Fix every step. Assembled-disassembled-parts. And enjoy the adventure! Vlad.
  23. I'm shure a truck driver have to avoid so fat chicks because they could damage running board or fuel tank. Of course Mack is a thoughest truck but I strongly recomend to preserve fresh restored vehicle from ugly influence ! Just keep a pair of thin's on a passenger seat
  24. Very nice wooden drilling rig. Haven't ever seen anything like this. Any ideas of the age? Macks are nice-looking stuff also. Vlad
  25. Happy B-day
