  1. I'm shure you need to deal for F. Cabover is nice and rare also. I'm not a master of a trade to the States but think the price resonable to start is scrap+, maybe +50% or more. Vlad
  2. Very rare ZiL. 112 examples were built. I know it looks like many American cars of that time but I like it too much.Haven't new about this one in Poland.
  3. Tom, I'm shure Texas cowboys are awesome Cities are interesting for me also because I was born and was living 25 years in the biggest one overhere. Although a country couldn't be seen from inside a city. Vlad
  4. Thank you, I'm well-informed now.Sorry, can't promise anything at the moment. A lot of money is also important requirement walking overseas. I also need visa. Although I'm pleasing too much contacting you. Must to add that 20 years ago making so plan for me was like making a plan of a moon flight.
  5. Very nice looking picture. Does any of your friends make the shot when you're driving? What is the side of a steering she has? I know Australian F's but not informed about Irish or GB. Vlad
  6. I heared about this fact on local radio today. As for me, my choice would depend upon my hungry. I prefere A or B then to die.
  7. Me also, Leon. I came home by plain yesterday but got to the compute today. Vlad.
  8. Yes, everything is right in the movie. You're fast
  9. There were also many European trucks including some nice examples
  10. Yellow L (and the blue one at the up first picture) is ex-military NR with shortened frame and aftermarket L cab and fifth wheel. Kept lot of people's attention.
  11. Blue and white early R is from Great Britain, has English plates on.
  12. White B has special body for use as a camper.
  13. Last Sunday was too sunny at Amsterdam. I came there in the noon with a friend of mine who lives in Germany. The reason was to visit a meeting of Dutch Mack Fanclub. This year was 33th (or 34th ?) time of the event. There was another place then many previous years. Amsterdam instead of Utrecht.
  14. What is a gear-to-axle bolt arrangement of tandems? It there are 8 bolts and the ratio is about 7-8 I could be in interest for tandem gears. Vlad
  15. Thank you,It's not too hectic need for me though that is a part I still haven't found. Vlad
  16. Good, would be in interest to look for. By the word, I'm modelling AC Monogram at the moment. How it's usual the moment is too long. I started to built completely new chassis and met info troubles. Couldn't realised central (under cab) crossmembers and pedal arrangement. Although haven't enough time for, working on full-scale NR. Vlad
  17. Thank you guys, You're very friendly. I'm thinking, yes. It's good I have a time for, because just afraid to make so pleasunt plans. Probably I can arrive to NYC. If I hope right, Macungie gets the area not too far from? As for US Army, there is "Marchall museum" in The Netherlands with a content of great collection of American army vehicles, trucks, tanks and everything other taken with Lend-Lease to West Europe. I was there two times, can make special report if anybody is in interest. There are 2(!) Macks overthere. How you have probably noted yet, this figure is too high due to European level of Mack concentration.
  18. Happy birthday!
  19. Paul, nice project. Could I see at some place pictures of your AC(s)? Vlad
  20. Because of a site's truck orientation this tread got "odds'n ends".Yes, 500K. It's nothing if I say I like compressor pre-war Mercedes. There are some of them in Germany, most are well-known. If you look at the picture, the plate conteins "Sinsheim". It means the car is just temporary out of its original location. I saw whole a collection of compressors 500-540 in Sinsheim. Also 770 and G4. Can post of course but as you noted we all prefere Macks owerhere There were many old Mercedes including 500K in Russia after the war. Most of them were exported back in Germany in early 90's. This a sorrow to Russians, of a same kind as you feel for Mack export. Vlad
  21. Welcome! I also like hard rock but prefere heavy metal. Both in vehicles and music.
  22. Yes, David, they are popular this way. And to discuss with road police. Here I'm living ! Had a trip just yesterday with a 5 tonn roll back that a friend of mine keeping at me for a mounth. It was rainy and I drove 80-90 km/h. Saw IH with a container rig in a mirror, he followed me shorting the distance. That's why I prefered to keep the speed. The road width was like in the movie. One moment KamAZ truck came out on the road from aside in 200 meters in front of me. I started to brake. Truck went slowly but after a hundred meters he stops. I'm also with a bit nervous. But when I looked the mirror in a pair of seconds I saw "Inter" making himself in-line after 2 meters off-set, and another tank truck/semitrailer behind it crossed the road with a cab out of a left side of it. JUST like in the movie! I activated CB and heard "Hey guys, keep another way, here's a crash with a tank truck and a car." Brrr....
  23. Thanks alot, I probably found most of I need at Chrome Country. At the moment I have got a bad practice of recieving privat post from the US. Last parsel is still on his way, four previous walked about 8 weeks each. So now trying to use local parts supplier. Price is close but they have a risk on them, not me. As I believe still. Now waiting for a big order, but it's in a conteiner, longer that air. Would continue after recieving it. Very good you're helping to know of what is metal and what's plastic, not every online list gives correct info.Vlad
