  1. Watt's Mack have them in the list but listed expensive. Nearly $130 a piece. When I've asked the answer was "plastic, expensive and hard to get". I saw some R's have them and maybe from the factory. Vlad.
  2. Yea, look like Freightliner's. What's about red frame? Is this just a fresh overpainting? Vlad
  3. Does it have a grill? With a form of #. I'm in need for. Vlad.
  4. I have problems with a shipping.Rob sent me bearings 10 weeks ago but I still don't know where are they walking. Now waiting a lot from Watts Mack but with a help of local importer. So parts supply is under construction. Baby moons - I need to identify stud/hub piloting. For example Mack accessories online has them but not all is clean there. Vlad
  5. Nice. How do you guys upload high-resolution pictures? Or maybe I'm still not pedigreed enoug to do it? U model - can't you get a chassis nr using the info of reg.plates? I like this busy brown dog too much. Vlad
  6. Nice looking easy packing toy!
  7. Fuel tanks is a project for next spring. My boys must to relax well after wheels for not saying f**k off to me.Vlad
  8. Thank you, will try. Most American truck parts aren't used in Europe so they come from States if somebody in need for. Here some of them exist but a problem of info about Macks and old trucks. Vlad.
  9. Ufff... I saw some of the images earlyer but I like 'em too much. Vlad
  10. Here the stuff of this condition avalible. For $150 with wrong piloting. The shipping is about $2 per kilo plus some extra for m3. Parts trader is ready to import for me $400 new Alcoas for +45% and I damn starting to think about rears... Vlad
  11. Nice looking Diamond T's but I better like them of this kind (sorry, no good front view):
  12. Paul, I'm really impressed of your collection. Especially of the number of READY models. I'm not glad of American Industrial's quality plus prefer to keep myself in 24th scale but the result in nothing done. Last thing I started is Monogramm AC. It was looked to me good by the first but starting to work I resolved to rework it 70%. Still reworking Vlad
  13. By the chance, Does anybody know where to get "baby moons" for stud-piloted Alcoas? Maybe PAI or OEM #?
  14. Probably better than others overhere. I'm in a conclusion though. I need tyres. New only avalible. Have to pay 1K for a pair of China steerings (People say they're good). Next step - 8 driving ones... Plan to wait until next spring for money spending. It would be nice to assemble 2 in front at least. But I'm planing to do only one trip this authumn and waiting to see white flys in the air in 4-6 weeks. So wheels would come into the snow for a glad of neighbor's cats to piss them over Vlad
  15. Brockway is nice and R is awesome! R looks quite close to my R's Canadian production. Is the blue one made in Canada or States? Vlad
  16. Have polished 2 front wheels this week. Ohh... Originnaly they came to me as the first picture. I'm shure all the drivers of that yard made piss on them for some years. There were 24.5 tyres not avalible so wheels were changed for 20's long ago. Most of originals are long gone into alu recycling. So the only two. I started to sand them with wood sand paper and after half an hour understood there were no chanses for any good. Corrosion was too deep plus mec. damages. A friend of mine helped me for a chap who machined them faces. With some weld up on cavits. For not expensive. Picture 2. That chap (have never had luck seen him) is 86. He workes his job all his life although he made as wavy surfase... ...so I had sanded them with a pair of boys at my shop during whole 3 days! I can't say I'm happy about resuls. (3,4) Aluminium is not a material for polishing. It's a best of what I can get of them. Doesn't look like polished stainless. Though I have now two alloys ready for tyres. Vlad
  17. David,I have taken it to account. Just a problem of time and partly finished projects. Promise to be more active Really have seen woods of a great size at pictures with old Macks only. Vlad
  18. Well looking train. If somebody wants to get it back to the States just have to go and pay the best price. Am I wrong? Vlad.
  19. Vinny, You'll have the best one soon! The only thing you need is just keeping her up! Vlad
  20. I'm always impressing of the size of woods. They are probably from B.C., not States? Who is the model builder? Awesome stuff! Vlad.
  21. Don't remember at the moment about some E's for sale, but B's, H's and some other stuff looked like the blue one were about 3-3.5K. Excepting LTL's and W's. So I'm not shure about 6-7. As for me there is not a big difference to pay 3 or 8 because a shipping and customs would be about 5-8K. This way I prefer to pay 10K for better one. Blue one looks well restorable, especially as she runs. But I stop now. Until at least one my project gets ready :( Vlad
  22. Die hard LJ ! I like it and like to see it's still working. Vlad
  23. Just have remembered, about hands. "When you are driving with a nice chick near you and touching her lap by the hand you must to know that you're making bad BOTH things". Vlad
  24. Sometimes it happens. Usually both eating hamburger and shifting.Vlad
