  1. What the strange for U-model hood? Isn't it a west coast U? Or maybe just some excessive amount of fiberglass was used for its produce?
  2. It's a good practice to cover many household needs in one place. You just only need to look over all the stuff you bought in a week or two. And to note what have you utilized and what you haven't a time for. Next visit the shop remember things of what you bought and have to fit/rebuilt/remove/repaint/attach and so on. It helps to avoid shop gasket overfill. Vlad
  3. Greetings, Murray, The following numbers are from Mack NR 1944 Ordnance supply catalog, so they are old. Although maybe they could help. Connecting rod bearing M-62GB 1138 or a pair M-62 GBA 1154 Crank Main center lower M-64 GB 1190A upper M-64 GB 1335A Main front lower M-64 GB 1154A upper M-64 GB 1321A Main intermadiate lower M-64 GB 1172A upper M-64 GB 1328A Main rear lower M-64 GB 1208A upper M-64 GB 1342A Bearing set (all main's) M-64 GBA 1999 All the numbers are of std size bearings, there are also .001 , .002 , .010, .020, .030, .040 and .050 U.S. (marked this way so probably + .00.. inches). Interesting to know what did you do about cylinder linings. In a reference to piston rings. Did you keep a standard size? I haven't the engine apart still but it is stuck. The man who sold it to me said he has heads removed and saw two cylinders were rotted (I think it's typical) So I'll probably need to change linings or pistons. And see a parts problem in the horizont line. Most modern parts are avalible here but old ones are difficult. All the best, Vlad
  4. Nice stuff guys, I've never seen the most of.
  5. The first picture shows two China-made "Signatures". Both are relatively good when looking from a distance. Has worthy made suspension and neither fire pumps, imitation only. There are also proportional mistakes as wind screen size and others. I'm thinking to rebuilt EH to a correct form one day and mayby convert it into EHU cabover tractor... But where is the time for ?? Three R's at the second shot are German production Sicu of 70's-80's. A friend of mine bought them for my smile, he lives in Germany. The last one white R is Solido, has good condition because wasn't a toy but an advertizing souvenire. Vlad
  6. I have all the numbers from a parts list but have no actual bearings. So can't help. I'm going to make my Lanova apart this winter so will probably need new parts also. Don't you know what piston rings your mate fits in? Vlad.
  7. Here we have lots of machinery built and imported in Soviet times for army production mostly. Last 20 years no production development provides in our country so I meet less working equipment and skilled specialists. Most of them are gone now and millions tonns of heavy equipement were scrapped. So there are some abilities to order some complicated works but for costs probably higher than in the US.
  8. I have my Camelback of 1945 repaired last year. The milage is unknown. 6 of 8 insulators were solid, bronze bushings were weared because of seals death and water income that made the trunnion rust. Have the trunnion shaft machined off to a less size and made new bushings. Problem was to find bronze because no bronze pipes were for sale, a solid piece only. Vlad.
  9. I think LJSW would be more correct due to the load rating. Although I'm on my research way only. And I don't need a hand of fingers to count L's that came to Russia. Because they didn't. Ianos - nice trucks, I like Aussie options. Thank you for posting. Vlad.
  10. Have steering parts sand blasted and painted. Waiting for bolts and nuts are ready from halvanic in days. Vlad
  11. A Stop Leack additive works on rubber seals making them softer. It can't stop fluid on it's way between metal parts as shims are. Vlad.
  12. My book is an "After the Battle" publication. Vlad.
  13. Happy 4th of July to all you American guys !
  14. I have the parts list for EY707 gasser of 1943. There are Mack part numbers: Bearing Cam intermediate 59GB 123A Cam front and rear 59GB 122A Crank main rear upper 64GB 1684A lower 64GB 1693A main center upper 64GB 1666A lower 64GB 1675A main front upper 64GB 1648A lower 64GB 1639A All these numbers relates to bearings of a standard size. Can say at least ED Lanova and END673 has different bearings numbers. Vlad
  15. There are probably many army NR's owerthere. They are not too far from L's. Vlad
  16. A right side door of the offset cab opens probably not so enough for a fat chick. So I'm for being free from them !
  17. Impressive! I saw a lot of photos, video gives wider field of view.
  18. Couldn't you look owerthere for a set of L model high speed axle gears? Or maybe complete bogie ? I sent a PM to KidNV although haven't an answer. Vlad.
  19. Looks like for a late series DM, with a little "wedged" plastic hood. This is the one of known Macks owrehere. I missed her "for sale" last year.
  20. I like Australian DM too much! Needed some tens seconds to understand that something was wrong. I also like to see roads, during the trip for the best. Can say, the roads look mostly the same in the area I live, maybe less hills. And less Macks. Damn, NO Macks! So thank you for the report.
  21. Yea, my also (was). Each time I'm looking in the window I see these terrible aftermarket lights... I know I need a grill, original wheels, cab repaint. But I want headlight plates. I need to change them, and the look of the truck will changes to be better.
  22. She really must go crazy. Though medical exercise identify she's not. Strange fact that I haven't seen all that in news and met the artical just here.
  23. I also was in waiting to see Yellow B model Dump Vlad
  24. Thank you, Paul. Wheels and Tracks are out of my attention due to the shortage of time for looking for.. Do you mean some Bart's publication in Wheels&Tracks? Vlad
  25. Nice looking machine ! I'm praying the Lord for she has no sleeper. Because if she has it I must go crazy trying to have the truck immediately. Vlad
