    By the chance clean me one thing gyus. Here in Russia we say "right side drive". It means I drive the road on a right side. And vehicles in front of me going to me at left. I understand it well. We also say "right side steering" or "left s.s." But what the hand? And where I must to keep my hand (right or left?) to follow the road?? Vlad

    Don't be afraid Ben, I drove some right-hand cars with manual, and they had turn switch on different sides.I had no problems with both and couldn't remember what a hand what I did. Just drove! The most nice was Nissan pick-up with a steering column shifter Vlad

    Very nice looking arrengement with the sleeper and the shot bad. To my eye it would be better to decrease flatbed extremely. Though it would be extremely unuseful also. What's the engine? EN471? Vlad

    Mike, everybody here knows you're saving most Macks as any other man all 'round the world. But you can't save 'em all! Nobody can. As for me it's better as a truck is keeping in a good condition and a place anywhere than it works hard and rusting and going to be scrapped in his Fatherland. Do we want it or not but a rare vehicle comes to be rare after they go to a little existance. Only after that we are sorrieing and babying the rest of an ex-great number.     At first I'm not calling me Truck driver. Because I'm not. At the second, I'm shure hard, there are neither U's in all my country. More, I've never noted U's anywhere in Europe. Both on roads and internet. By the word - my last holiday trip was of 7000 km in Europe and Russia. No Macks were seen by me through the wind screen. No one! Vlad

    There is a turn light relay (on my R688 of 1988). It locates behind "glove" compartment door, right side. My one is red.Relay has 2 pins only, of a flat kind. It interrupts the current making intervals. The one in my truck conteins real ingeneer genius, it provides pauses by mechanical system with a little flywheel. If you change the relay by a piece of wire it works as constant turn light. Previous owner of my truck drived her for some monthes (or maybe years) making pulsations by hand Vlad

    Don't want to argue with a rest of you guys, but I like R with stock single round headlights. Though my both R's have - one double round's and the second - rectangular's - holy shit! Vlad

    Yea Vinny, I also remember this picture. With fat front fenders. To me this one really looks ugly. Taking to account that I like off-set cab. I was always shure it's good idea to improve visibility. Although I haven't ever drive them. Vlad
