  5. If it were me I'd buy them both. I recently turned down the purchase of a 1973 R700 with a V8 and now I'm kicking myself for it. If you like MH's I'd say buy them. randyp, can I come play with the D7G . Thanks, Josh
  6. The trunion is just a newer version of what I already have. The B53 that I have was really heavy in the fornt end and light in the back. I've triple checked to make sure the it will work, but I just need to get the walking beams removed and I'm just not sure how they come off. I really don't want to put in the whole B53 suspension because it is completely worn out except for the trunion. Thanks, Josh
  7. I need some advice on removeing the walking beams from the trunion out of a B53 cement mixer suspension. Any ideas? On my B421 that has a regular SWD56 suspension once the trunion was unbolted from the springs, the caps came right off. This walking beam suspension is altogether different. I need to get the beams off because this trunion needs to go in my B421[the one out of it has several large cracks]. If you need any pictures to see what I'm dealing with let me know and I'll get them. Thanks, Josh
  8. Not to mention I have literally hundreds if not more pictures of Superliners on my flash drive Thanks, Josh

Like I said just a few . Thanks, Josh
  10. The dad of a friend of my Dad's bought the CL in Texas and brought it up here to Pennsylvania because he has another CL V8 log turck that rolled over last year and he took the cab and hood off of it for the log truck. From there he sold the chassis to another friend of ours who lives in Wexford Pa and I know he isn't going to sell it because he now in total 9 E9 V8 Macks. A little long winded but should answer your question. Thanks, Josh
  11. If it really is a RWS722, then it would originally have had an E9-440 V8 under the hood . Thanks, Josh
  12. If you don't mind my asking what's the Model# and Vin# on this truck. I was doing a little historical research a while ago on here about the 1000 V8's and the trucks they were in. I correct myself from earlier, the very last 1000's had the air to air set up right before they went to the E9 designation. If you could take some pictures of it it would be really neat to see. As for the price factor a Friend of mine just bought a 95 CL chassis with a V8 that didn't have a cab or hood for $9000 and it had 400000 miles on it. I hope this helps. Thanks, Josh
  13. Why do you ask? They started making them in 1975 for R700s. They didn't have an air to air cooler like the E9s. Did you find one if so I'd really like to see pictures of it.? Josh
  14. I took a video of my Brother making a few rounds with it that I'm going to post up on youtube in a few days. The video is almost 4 minutes long ! I'll try and post up a link when I do. I don't know how, but My Dads Superliner V8 doesn't sound as nice as this one and it has 6in. straight pipes that are the same hieght as this one. Don't get me wrong my Dad's sounds really good but this one sounds even better. I guess live is good . Thanks, Josh
  15. This past Saturday my Dad, my Brother and I went to fix 2 E9 V8s that our friend Ted Crea has. The first was in an Ultraliner which just needed to started after sitting for a while. The second was Ted's Magnum superliner that he bought off our cousin a couple of years ago. We had to put on a different injection pump because the old one had issues. After the pump was done my Brother and I got to test the old Magnum out and boy did we have fun. I love the sound of a V8 Mack in the evening . I really wish I owned this truck. Here's a few pictures of it. Enjoy !! Thanks, Josh
  16. You wouldn't happen to any pictures of the freedom Mh would you ? Thanks, Josh.
  17. That's a B-21. Mack only made 9 of them. All 9 were fire trucks. Basically it is a B-75 with the B-71 extended grill so they could fit the big Hall-Scott under the hood. Thanks, Josh
  18. Superdog My Great Uncle Paul got it some where [not really sure where, he knew a lot of guys at a lot of dealers] and he gave a copy to my Dad. It has all the superliner models on it and how many of were made of that type each year. I don't suppose a lot of people have such a list. The only problem with it is it doesn't show what engines go to each type. Some I know for sure some not so much. Did you happen to notice if the hood open seen in the movie showed a V8 or a 6cyl? Cool pics. Does any one know if my assumption is right about them having 865 and 866 V8's? Thanks,Josh
  19. I have a sheet that shows how many of each type of Superliner[RWS786,RW612,ect.] were built. I'm curious about is the following RWL795L, RWS795L, RWS797L. I would assume that they had 865 and 866 V8's. I myself have never seen one. Have any of you? I would really like to find out more about them. If any of you have any pictures of one of these please post them if you can. According the sheet I have 66 RWL795LST's were built between 1978 and 1981, 2 RWS795LS's were made in 1979, 11 RWS795LST's were built between 1978 and 1979, 2 RWS797LS's were built between 1978 and 1979, and finally 82 RWS797LST's were built between 1978 and 1979. I would really appreciate any additional information or pictures. Thanks for any help, Josh
  20. Jocko, Nice find. If you don't mind my asking is that a Chrysler 440 industrial on the back of it? Thanks, Josh
  21. THAT'S JUST WRONG!!! It would look a lot better without a bunk.I like single axle Superliners but that one is to short. How about this one? I personally like it better and it has an E9-400 V8 under the hood . If it were closer to home it would be mine in a heart beat. Thanks, Josh
  22. The reason I ask is because I know were there's a RS795LST for sale [and yes it still has the V8!]that I would like to get and I was wondering as to how rare it is and how many were made. Rob, I just seen the pictures of your RL797 and your RL755. Do you have any other pictures of them? Thanks, Josh
  23. I'm curious as to how many RS/RL 795/797s were made. Do any of you know. Thanks, Josh.
  24. I'm planning on doing the same to my B-421 and would like to know as well. Thank, Josh.
  25. In 1971 somebody solved the no power problem in my 1959 B-421. They took out the EN-401 and replaced it with an EN-414[AKA Chrysler 413 industrial V8], which means more power and less gas mileage , Josh.
