It get's swept up and goes to the reclaim pile Vlad ice and snow is what gets the grit. Here when we get a hard frost the road will be slick and the grit trucks are out. Nice picture!

Paul in the states we just use a coarse sand but I didn't realize that sand isn't abundant here and you are right it is called road metal Baxter it is used for traction

Yes your 100% right! Seeing how different country's work compared to the states is eye opening. Here workers at FH are treated pretty damn good and companies in the states could learn a few lessons. Flew back and forth three times over a year period and that got old too! -

Here is what New Zealand puts on their roads instead of sandSand here is very precious and so road grit is used. Marbles if you ask me or anyone on a motorcycle and forget about your wind shield or paint job!

Saw this in a cocky's(farmer's) paddock. Old Leyland Buffalo that I know nothing about. Interesting top mirror bracket and half a sun visor.

Trent they can order Titan's here but they decided on the Superliner because it was a bit lighter. Only built in OZ are the Superliners. Jim I was lucky to drive it! T#1 is very possessive of his girl and you should have see the guys in the yard when I pulled out with her, they were all thumbs up Thanks Vlad, Push D and go! Very quite and picks up quickly 685HP is nice and when we run together the KW falls behind in the hills. -
