Glad to hear it. We keep loosing it but the trees can't take the weightMy red pines planted about 20 years ago took it hardThe deer are an easy target for the coy dogs who can run them down on the hard pack ice and snow

We just had time to pull it out and then get ready for Christmas eve:) it is a good work out for sure! Very nice! I looked at a 640A last year but couldn't agree on a pricethe old 230 works pretty good for fire wood!

Well after the ice storm the sun has now come out and my friend Tim and I and Max went cutting our fire wood for next seasonIt was a beautiful day to be out sidethe 230 really worked great and got about 12 cord done

Thanks Mike bought the mechanic truck in an auction and the white 250 was on craigslist. Both have over 200,000 but still strong sounding. The white 250 has a 5 speed and it is the cleanest truck I've seen in Vermont for it's age. Yes, the cummins it very nice!

Thanks everyone, it's hovering at 32 right now and light rain which is the problem, it freezes to all the cold surfaces and the poor trees get hammered. The 4430 used about 15 gallons all day and my son returned home for Christmas and the power came back on. Let's see what the morning brings!

Thanks guys, I have a generator I hook up to the JD 4430 on 1000 pto so she is just above an idle. Man the ice is thick! Have not seen it this bad in 15 years!
