  3. Here Maxim and I are enjoying our Molson Dry 8.5(Thanks Jeff and Chume') after haying all day. Nothing tastes better after a long day.

  5. Nice machine for the price and great for pushing top soil. I had a 1960 440 with a 253 and loved it. Should be able to find a 253 out there.

  7. I gave it back and now driving the reclaim Foreman's truck till mine is out of the shop. He is getting a new truck and so I painted his rims flat black for a better effect!

  9. Mike the boys save as many good trucks as they can to keep them from getting scrapped or sent else where.

  13. It seems to be hit or miss with the Fords after the 7.3, My crew truck has 200,000 on it and starting to act up. Lot of 7.3 trucks out there with twice as much. Hard to beat the old 7.3, We just got two 5500 Dodge mech. trucks and so far so good. The boys like the exhaust brakes!
  14. Rob I had to bring it back but I'll get some pictures of the interior. Jim that old R is one tough truck and you don't feel any bumps in the wheel. Andre' I told the equipment division to put a mech. body on it and I would run it for a crew truck!

  17. Had a great weekend in Quebec and enjoyed all the great trucks along with the first of many Superliners to be savedThis E9 would look good next to mine!
  18. Perfect! Ed, Forgot that reverse is on the compound stick! I was WTF then remembered.... Yes a lot of trucks up here came with them in the mid 1980's.Good for construction but my favorite is the 12 speed and I hate the 9 speed.
  19. Yes Vinny....Dang Fords! Well it has 200,000 miles on it now so I guess it can happen. Rob, Build date 1/85 and has a 300 in it with a duplex. Never has seen salt or winter for that matter. 44 rears and very tight old truck. One to make a sweet show truck out of.

  22. Twin brother retired from Norwich PD and now DMV detective for State of Conn. Older brother owns Mark's magneto service in Colchester and little brother lives in Ellington? Can't remember if I posted is old Ct. construction truck from New Haven?
  23. Interesting to know that some ideas were being looked at for fuel savings. The Jimmy with a Detroit and an accordion on the roof can second as a on truck band!
