  1. Pretty happy, found a full picture of Johnny's rideIt does look pretty uncomfortable for a long ride.
  2. Parked on concrete was a smart move. Very nice and the pictures are great!
  3. Thanks Mike, We've all had that nervous feeling in our stomach if we should keep bidding or slowly back away! I asked the same question many years ago and was told by Mr. Beiler that young folks could run equipment or even have a license to drive but when they hit 18 and join the church, by by to all that. The Mennonite's do run steel and a steel seat. Landis Zimmerman had a brand new riding lawn mower on steel and steel seat. I asked him why and he said we can have no comfort.
  4. I'm sure some of you have been to Beiler's Auction in Leola,PA. I went for years with my brother and here are some photo'sTractor row and one of the equipment area'sMy favorite spotand should have bought this oneJD 630 power steering and live pto but let it go by....and a 730 Hi Crop from ArgentinaWorth quite a bit now and some Amish boy's running around with this tractorWhen you saw them coming you made sure you gave them plenty of room. Always had a great time there and the people were awesome along with the food and pies.
  5. Once Matt goes through the truck I'm sure it will look like a million bucks!
  6. Nice truck Bryan, talking about Norwalk, on the south bound side of 91 at the last Mcbarnyard rest there is an old pit or construction yard full of antique equipment or did years back. Any idea who yard this was?
  7. 84superdog, I know what your saying...there are a lot of folks that hang on to equipment and I have in the past like many others here been able to get equipment from these folks but a friendship is involved. It would be great to save such a rare piece and it maybe possible along the way.
  8. Welcome Fudge71, your family history sounds very interesting and would love to see some pictures of this if possible. I'm sure you'll find some one here with your V8 needs.
  9. Mark, Glad you enjoyed the picture. I sent that picture to the guy who owned the camero the other day and he was so happy because he didn't have any pictures of it and it was 30 years ago that I took it. Lot of nice cars at my school growing up. My older brother had a "74" Camero with 350 bored 60 over and 202 heads with 3/4 cam, Cragar super tricks and munsie 4 speed. He let me drive it to school on day and the principle chased me down the road after burning out in all 4 gears. It was worth it....
  10. Great pictures gentlemen! Wishing I kept my 1986 DK 64....
  11. Matt was wondering that himself and will make the proper adjustments.
  12. Matt brought it home yesterday from NH.
  13. Here is my friend Matt's new toy haulerIt is a 1984 MR with a 237 and 5 speed with factory airHas about 150,000 miles on it and fifth wheel to pull the camper and the bikes go insideMatt has been around Mack his whole life and knows everything there is about 237 up to E9's. Now got to get him to post some more of his stuff from the past
  14. I think your school needs a old Mack with a 5 speed trans. in it. Pretty bullet proof and friendly shifting trans. My son learned on an old RD 600 with a 5 speed then graduated up to the Superliner and 12 speed. He makes me look bad now
  15. Happy Birthday Rick and many more!
  16. Bob, if you can step away slowly from your computer and give it to a local expert (same thing happened to me) and see if your data=pictures can be retrieved. Lost all mine and thank goodness I have some of the originals but all the ones family sent to me are gone. Then bought a new Toshiba satellite and love it....Good luck!
  17. Awesome Pete you keep it better than new!
  18. Damn nice Brockway, would love to drive one again.
  19. Damn...thought I had a chance!
  20. A lot of work Vlad, it looks good. Try some flour. It has always worked for me to get all the traces out.
  21. Ed, That "girl" looks familiar. Was she originally from Northern Vermont? Got a few like that on Main Street Newport.
  22. Very fancy roll off right there for sure!
  23. Great finds, Very nice set of MH's and that Superliner would make someone a cheap dump for around a farm or pit.
  24. Two bullet proof tractors and I like your colors. I had a 1963 4000 and 1958 860 very nice except the 63 had a sos trans. Sh#t on a stick.
