  2. On Mt. Washington the weather can change very quickly. The truck is covered in Rime ice which forms on mountain tops above the fog line(clouds). I won't say what the truck is yet. I'm sure some one will get it right. Here is a picture on the summit with my brother on our trip in August 1970

  9. Sorry to hear that. I've been robbed twice of equipment and now make it more difficult for the dead beats. Back in the mid 1980's in the Hartford Ct. area my company lost two brand new R models right off the job site. One had less than 3000 miles on it. Everyone watch out for each other!

  14. Talked to Olive the other day and he is great. Very busy with new baby and his family. Wheeling and dealing his trucks and equipment.
  15. You'll do great and down shifting will come with time and it's hard at first especially with an audience.
  16. NY, NJ, RI have the nicest heavy spec ten wheelers. Big rears and big rubber.
  17. Now I'm jealous! Nice pictures.
  18. Thanks for the info 2stack, I also remember when S&S had two black Superliners with E-9's.
  19. Ya Rob, east coast rot and up here hard to wash them in the winter. Everything freezes up. The new trucks rot ever faster now. The wife's 2012 F150 is showing signs of rust on the bumper.
  20. Both would make a great addition and Vinny's right.
  21. Town meeting day tomorrow here in Vermont and my town will be voting for or against having a FD. I hope we get it and the two trucks they want. We could use some good guys around here.
