  1. GPS= Girls Put'in on Stirrups.
  2. Here is the man of the "70"s. Saw him in concert swinging on a rope in a loin cloth. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3J-XYnZHfU
  3. The 1992 E9 was quite expensive to rebuild and my wife would probably divorce if this one needed it.
  4. Very nice truck, I remember those old air seats. If you tried to adj. the air pressure while driving you usually got your hand or a finger pinched.
  5. Glad to hear that your going to be a Great Grandpa and I bet Tommy is a great boy too but what I meant was the GPS map that you can take in your car or truck that's called a Tom Tom. Do you know if you are going to have a granddaughter or grandson?
  6. Yea Rowdy, He would ask, Where is your tom tom?
  7. Troy, Love the photo of the MR. You don't see many like that one!
  8. Hi Troy, Welcome and enjoy the social gathering of truck nuts.
  9. When I was 13 the neighbor down the road had a maroon 1966 GTO with 4 speed and tri power and a gold 1967 GTO with an automatic tri power. $600.00 would have bought these cars in 1978 but my Father said no way your binging home frigg'in junk from the neighbor. Neighbor said I could work in the woods with him for the cars but Dad wouldn't have it....Damn!
  10. Thanks guys, I've never adjusted the valves on an E9 so I am pretty inapt on the proper sequence. Any advise would be very helpful. Rob, I love watching that same video with that old V8, no other sound like it.
  11. Ben, would be great to see the pictures of your progress. Sounds like a lot of really nice rides in our past. Those Monte Carlos doors were made of some American steel and when you shut them make sure every part of you was in the car or you were gonna lose something.
  12. Ted Nugent, Aerosmith and the Allmen Brothers along with Marshall Tucker were big in my house among the young'in, oh and Black Sabbath. Dad's younger wife introduced us to that.
  13. Thanks Dan, I figured out how to paste, Thank you! Got a lot of work to do to it. She has a lot of potential and I like a truck on spokes.
  14. Changed the oil filters along with the fuel filters and transmission oil and Adj. the clutch. Tomorrow will be the rears. Here is a link to hear it run.
  15. Sometimes you can find some really nice stuff at the flea markets. Up here we have two auction houses that are usually packed.
  16. OOPS! Sorry if I got anyone in trouble. Lot of nice cars and stories guys. My Dad gave me and my two brothers a 1969 Chevy camper special. Dukes of Hazard was big then and me and my twin would jump it in Norwich Ct. by the golf course and get it a little air born. I'm sure the old man was getting a pain in his side when we did this.
  17. That's great Rob,Could you post a new picture of your fast back? I bet your son looks at that car and says, Thanks Dad!
  18. Ok boy's and girl's, Let's see your first rides. This was mine. 1967 fire bird. My brother and I took out the 6 cylinder out and put a big block Pontiac in. Didn't like that so we then put in a 350 chevy and enjoyed how squirrely it was. What a goofy looking kid.
  19. Great video! Drove a Brigadier for Allied Equipment in New London. Detroit, ten wheeler roll back. Spicer Fuel in Groton had one too and I remember driving it when one of the manifold gaskets blew. That was loud. 1983 learned how to shift a fifteen speed international with a 318 for Stone and Webster and drove a Brockway for Romenella with the 318. On U tube there are some pick up trucks with 453's in them. Really sound great.
  20. Very nice project and like all the posters and pictures on the walls. Need sun glasses to work in your shop.
  21. Used to enjoy the summer on this old 1984 Ninja 900, ah go like hell and have a little squeeze giving you a big hug.
  22. Yes for sure. I could write a book on everything they have. The trips to the body girl are fun too
  23. I sat in this truck and every other truck fullfuel01 has. I'm just a lucky boy!
  24. Phil, never met you but heard all good and you always have some really neat trucks for sale.
