  1. We had the gear slipping on the supply pump acted like you are describing
  2. Might try checking the silenoid in the dash to make sure it is getting a full 12 volts through it when cranking the engine. We had 2 different trucks do this, and they acted as you described. Good luck

  6. Haveing trouble with the 24 volt box on back of the alternator catching on fire Where the stator wire goes into the box. Would anybody happen to have a wireing diagram that would show where the battery cables, and the wires from the alternator go, or have any ideas what would cause this.

  8. I run 2 gallons of Lucas heavy duty oil stabilizer in my 460 and that seems to make the jake work better
  9. Check and see if you have 12 volts going through the silenoid under the dash panel by the circuit breakers we have had the same problem you described
  10. I have to run 2 gallons of Lucas oil stabilizer in my 2000 to keep the jake working strong, and engine running smooth when it's hot.

  14. Mine has a toggle switch on the dash
  15. You might try checking the voltage at silenoid in the dash by the fuse box i had that happen to one of my trucks last week it showed 1.5 volts and would not start good luck.
