  5. You can try Olsons Gasket is Washington state. I ordered a complete set of gaskets for my 707C and they of good quality. As it was a fire truck I needed two other small gaskets and they shipped them out @ no cost. http://www.olsonsgaskets.com/
  6. Finishing a rebuild of a 1965 Mack 707C Gas Engine and need to know how any advise on setting the Thrust Buttons on the front gear plate. The engine was completely torn down and reassembled and looking for suggestions as the manual does not address this. Many thanks in advance, Mark
  7. Peter, I would contact the Brillman Company in Va. as they may be able to help you. Check the Mack Museum website - there is a list of vendors for different parts, some electrical. You can aslo call or email the museum as they may know of additional vendors. Pictures may help your cause also. Mark
  8. I have a 1965 B Model with fctory installed P/S that I need to confirm the propoer routing of the hoses. The truck has been apart for a while and I had labeled the routing but it is gone. Need some assistance as the Mack Museum description does not show enough detail. Many thanks in advance!
  9. I have a 1965 B Model with a 707C Gasoline motor and wanted to confirm the proper muffler for the truck. It is a 1000 GPM fire pumper and the current muffler has a 3.5" inlet and a 3" outlet. The muffler body is round and is 38" long. The Mack Museum has provided some drawing but they do not match with what is currently there. Any help would be appreciated.
  10. Contact the Mack Museum in Allentown, Pa. with the truck's serial number. They can provide some hwlp with the origional documents, including the first owner. A lot of fire companies keep the manuals and you may be able to track your's down. Museum will accept any donations as the info is free. Mack458.

  12. I am in the process of rebuilding the engine on my 1965 B Model pumper with a 707C gasoline engine. The reassebly will require a tool to cnter the align the timing gear cover, and I cannot locate the part. Does anyone have the part that I could buy or borrow before I have one machined?   13. I am looking for a Stewart Warner Model 777-F Adapter with a 1.2020 ratio for my 1965 B Model pumper. The adapter may be know as part 119AX4605. I changed the rear from a 5.14 to a 4.25 and need this adapter to make the spedo correct. Any suggestions would be appreciate, Mark
  14. This may or may not help, but there is a gentleman who volunteers at the Mack Museum who worked on the "fire line" of production. Can't remember his name but if you contact the museum they may be able to help. Best of luck!

  16. Gary, I purchased one about 18 months ago from sparkplugsource.com. It was a Gates 33347 for $32.18 plus shipping. I did have to make up my own gasket during replacement.
