  1. I am in the process of rebuilding the engine on my 1965 B Model pumper with a 707C gasoline engine. The reassebly will require a tool to cnter the align the timing gear cover, and I cannot locate the part. Does anyone have the part that I could buy or borrow before I have one machined? If borrowed I will pay for shipping both ways. Many thanks, Mark
  2. I am looking for a Stewart Warner Model 777-F Adapter with a 1.2020 ratio for my 1965 B Model pumper. The adapter may be know as part 119AX4605. I changed the rear from a 5.14 to a 4.25 and need this adapter to make the spedo correct. Any suggestions would be appreciate, Mark
  3. This may or may not help, but there is a gentleman who volunteers at the Mack Museum who worked on the "fire line" of production. Can't remember his name but if you contact the museum they may be able to help. Best of luck!

  5. Gary, I purchased one about 18 months ago from sparkplugsource.com. It was a Gates 33347 for $32.18 plus shipping. I did have to make up my own gasket during replacement.
  6. The B Model Store has a 180 degree thermostat that I believe should fit. The END673 and 707 share the same block, and Barry or Tracy in parts should be able to tell you. I have a NAPA at home - I think it's 170 degrees and will follow up with that information. The thermostat on BMS - http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?app=links&gotolink=7
  7. There is a 1957 B Model pumper on E bay for 18K. If this is the truck I remember it was sold by a fire company in Western Pa. about two years ago. I was told it was very clean and had won several awards at local events. The truck was complete with all origional equipment at the time it came out of the fire company. I'm pretty sure that when it was being hauled to Florida the transporter stopped by Watt's and there are photos on the web site here. I think the fire company's name was Burgettsville or a simular name.

  10. I have a 1965 B Model Mack pumper with a Mack RAS 508 rear and a CR 84 carrier assembly. The current gear set is 5.14 and I would like to get a little more speed, better economy, and let wear on the motor. So I am looking for a 4.25 or 4.63 gear set. If anyone has a suggestion I would greatly appreciate your input. Many thanks in advance, Mack458
  11. Mack manufactured some larger pump B models that the 707 engines could not power. The noses were lengthened to accomodate a Hall Scott engine. Scroll down this link to see one. http://www.lastresortfd.org/museum.htm mack458
  12. I am looking for ladder brackets for a 1965 B Model pumper with a Hahn body. I believe the brackets on C Models with a Hahn body are the same. Brackets hold one 35' and one 14' Alco Lite aluminum ladders.

  14. I have a 1965 B 95 pumper and am looking to replace the rear turn signal red lenses (4). The current lenses are labeled LS369 at the base. I am also looking for one chrome KD 752 light fixture. These fixtures have a lense on one side only. I can forward a picture if needed. Many thanks in advance, Mack458.
  15. In need of a ride from Pitt to West Chester, Pa. for a 1975 ALF fire truck. Truck is 29' long, 9'6" high, about 10 Ton. If interested please contact Dave @ 610-476-6624. Truck runs.
  16. I believe the dual ignition was used in emergency equipment to provide a back up in case of an ignition failure. We had one on the 1955 V12 Seagrave I rode on as a volunteer, and I have one on my 1965 B95 with a 707C engine. I have seen one distributor cap fail and the operator switch over from dual to the good single ignition. I run mine on both all of the time. Great find and the best of luck. Enjoy! Mack458
