  1. Yeah Paul, I think ad said that also. It shows tire on ground, and guy standing on it with a hinged long bar and shows another bar to come with it, kinda duck billed on end. says to work on all tires up to 24.5 tubeless. Wish they would show a video on it or sumpin. randyp
  2. I buy lots of stuff from Northern Tool and Equipment, they send me lots of catalogs. I keep seeing ad for E-Z way tire changer. It says you can break bead from both sides without turning tire over. It show pic of 2 tire tools, one looks kinda hinged. Cost is 289.00. Anybody on here ever used one or have any input? I dont wanna pay that much to test something. I didnt think there was anything e-z way bout breaking a truck tire down. Anybody familiar with this apparatus? thank you,,,randypee
  3. Ole Spot went off down road and fornicated, fellow gave me one of his pups. I will get a pic of it today. Fine looking pup, chip off the old spot. I will get a pic sometime today or tommorrow and post it. Gonna let Spot show him the ropes and turn him into a warrior! randyp

  10. I coitainly hope you got a pigeon license mister, or this may cost you a lil more change also. When i was a young dumb teenager, I had a 72 ford pinto. i was going down long straight stretch of highway, saw 4 or 5 big buzzards feasting in middle of road. Lil light flashed in my feeble brain, i floored it and thought, ahm gonna get me one of those rascals. Last time I looked down grinning, I was doing lil over 75, and they started trying to get off highway. All flew away from highway,,,,cept one big dumb one, not as dumb as me though, He was trying to gain altitude coming straight toward me. The last thought I had before contact was,,(dam randy, this was not a well thought out idea). We made contact, he busted windshield, remains of his stinking, bloody, mucus ridden carcass hung up on lil so called luggage rack on top of car. I pulled over, opened door, smell hit me so i puked. I went to car wash, drug body parts off car, puked again. Never did that again. Not really sure how I have made it this far in life,,,,randyp
  11. I been thinking bout sticking me a squatting bulldog on front of my dodge, up the value of it a lil bit,,,randyp
  12. Hey slpwlker, Yeah, i agree. Actually the Mack I have a bid on right now, I told Rob the serial number, and it is a converted tractor. It has been fishplated, frame looks good on it, so, just see what develops. The R-model i have been running the last couple of years is a converted tractor also, it has a double frame, never had any problems yet, but I do understand what you are talking bout. Thanks for input and info, will keep you posted on progress,,,,randyp
  13. No, wait, RETRACTION,,,delete part of former,,,I dont want air operated PTO, I want to engage it manually with a lever. I just feel safer that way, i want to ease it in with clutch in, wanna feel it engage, dont want no malfunctions or warning lights,,I wanna feel it. I wanna look down and see that lever in locked out position, thas just me, aint gonna change, hard headed, old school, nanna nanna boo boo,,,,,,randyp
  14. When I worked in strip mines, they had the turboprecleaners on rear engines of all the scrapers and they claimed it saved a fortune on filters. randyp
  15. Heh,,You see Toms shenanigans in former pic trying to lure me in Rob? I guarantee this pete dont look like that. No, gonna have to stay with Mack. I have too much experience with the one I have now, and have seen it pull out of too many holes, overloaded and all, to go with anything else. I am going to redo whole dump operating system though, fully agree with you there. randyp
  16. Well that just burns me up Rob! As technologically advanced as this great nation is, You would think they could manufacture a filter that wouldnt collect dirt,,,hmmph,,,go figger,,,,randyp
  17. I dont understand what you mean by "air filter is open". explain please. One thing you can try maybe, load it super heavy, try to start up on a steep incline, cause engine to hiccup and run backwards, will do a good cleanout on air filter, you can cleanout underwear later also,,,,randyp
  18. I had never heard of or seen a Rex truck either Tom, He had bout 4 or 5 more sitting on back lot covered in vines but too much truck traffic in and out and i dint wanna get runned over and squished. I may get pics of them later. Rob, I dont care for any of the dump system he has set up on truck, if i buy it, gonna carry it over to local Warren dump Mfg. in Talco, bout 35 miles from here, and have lectric tarp put on and have controls changed over to manual PTO lever along with switch for tarp, thas how my other one is set up and I like it. I like a manual lever for PTO and another lever for up and down dump operation. Heh, I shouldnt tell you this, a relative of mine called me last night, He owns a local truck repair shop and had bought a dump truck to fix up in spare time and resell later. He said he had gotten too busy and would sell it to me for what he paid. He said had excellent tires, good dump bed, etc. Now for the kicker,,,,,heh heh heh,,,(Its a peterbilt) He wants 5 for it, gonna go look, but dont thinkk will go that route. Blasphemy! LOL. I think he said it had 400 cummins and 15 speed. I will look, but I shore am partial to them R and B model Macks! randyp
  19. Thanks Rob.
  20. Yep, like Rob said, looks just like oliver grill and fenders. The one I photographed looked like it had bout a 4-53 detroit, mighta been bigger though. I didnt look real close. I know it had twin air breathers. No doubt bout it, I think its an Oliver, just not sure bout "super 99" part. Boy, they are a super, massive heavy looking tractor!
  21. Looks right, gonnna have to get Brian to look it over and decide,,,randyp
