  8. Well, I never was a believer in oil sampling, wouldnt matter what I found out doing it, Im a gonna run it till it drops anyway, then fix it or get another one. I wouldnt start tearing an engine down on account of sample, just run it till it spills its guts into the next county. Coal Mine I worked at spent a fortune on an oil sampling program, never paid heed to their samples anyway, ran them anyway, money spent sampling would have went a long way toward new engines anyway,,,,randyp
  9. no change in PSI, I add 1 gallon of lucas at each oil change in place of 1 gallon oil. I do believe it quietened transmission down in R-model. I already knowed they was gonna shoot at me, this subject has surfaced before. I dont believe for one minute it will harm anything. I also like it in planetaries. Now I aint trying to sell it, thas just my pinion,,,randyp
  10. Killer B loves the stuff, Hank the R-model adores it, Im even tempted to try it myself, maybe loosen up the colonoids, be able to sh#t faster. randyp (Dammit Rob, my toe is still hurting)

  13. I will prolly get shot at by somebody else here, but I use it in everything I run, dozer, truck, excavator, blade, and even use it in my pickup. In my pickup, I use the Lucas synthetic additive since pickup runs syntec oil. I use it in rear ends, trans, everthang and all. I LIKE IT!! Seen both pros and cons, like you,,,but,,,I LIKE IT!! I LOVE IT, I WANT SOME MORE OF IT!!! randyp

heh heh,,,my wife has been laughing bout a half hour now, I still hear her laughing in other room,,,,,,,,,randyp
  20. I agree Rob, but you have to be careful round here doing that, if you happen to knock over a mailbox or county road sign, they will make you pay for it, and the prices are somewhat inflated. However, depending on severity of offense, it is kinda fun to beat them a while with a mailbox post, after youve already knocked it over with them. Gas has also gotten a lil pricey here, so dragging overhead has increased accordingly. randyp
  21. We was prolly huddled up round a slowly dying fire, sharing a legbone, nah, Spot dont share,,,,,,,,,,randyp
  22. I got a sweet lil niece raising 2 kids alone. She came by house today, having car trouble. She said couple of weeks ago, it wouldnt idle, kept dying at stop signs and such, she would put it in neutral and rev it up to keep it going. She took it by a shop, they charged her a fortune to put an alternator on it, left shop. still died, drove it a while, took it back, they charged her a double fortune to put a fuel pump on it, car still wouldnt idle, she was too embarresed to take it back, just kept putting up with it. She came by and told me she was too broke to take it anywhere else, and figured I was too busy to work on it the first time. I lightly chastised her for not coming by when it started, cleaned throttle body up and checked IAC valve, it wasnt working, put a new one on it for less than $20.00 and all is well now. I do believe I will pay those crooks a visit early Monday morning, yall may not hear from me for a while, may get my silly ass in jail, but I am gonna get me some satisfaction from them sumbitches. That just aint right! I am pissed. randyp
  23. I hate it when all that happens! I work by myself also, you oughta see some of predicaments I get in, most of the time, I wind up needing bout 4 extra arms and hands. I usually wind up scratching my head a lot and using lots of rope or chain and binders trying to compensate for no extra help around. When I was mounting thumb on excavator a while back, had to run uptown for some parts, on way back passed a guy trying to hitch a ride, stopped and asked him if he wanted to work as a swamper bout an hour or two, he said no, just give me a ride. I told him to just keep his sorry, lazy ass walking then, and drove on off. I can tell by your story you are a very creative, resourceful person, so be careful and keep up the good work,,,randyp
  24. Happy Birthday Tony!!! randyp
  25. Ive lived here 56 years and we have never gotten this much snow, we are scheduled for more all next week. In addition to being a regular nut, I am also a "bird" nut, and am currently going through bout 20 pounds of bird seed every 2 days, and about the same amount of black oil sunflower seed also. The weather is really taxing the lil fellers here, am bout tired of it, starting to get cabin fever. i have made a few "store" runs for neighbors and checked on a few elderly friends, poked a few fires up for them and toted a lil wood, but, dammit, come on Spring!!! randyp
