  5. I had an 84 R model with the three leaf and was always breaking springs and when you got off the hard road you usually got stuck
  6. I get that a lot with mine. I feel like smashing it most of the time. Never getting rid of Rand McNally paperback edition.
  7. I added air ride on my 83 and it has the other style crossmember. Wasn't to bad to make it work. It rides a lot better to.
  8. I got the brake lining, cans, and slack adjusters on. Started running air lines. Forgot about painting brackets for valves so got them cleaned up and painted. Cleaned up the inside wheels and got them painted. Now if i get time i'll have to get outside wheels polished.
  9. No my R was orange and I sold it. I was in a company truck a ugly yellow International
  10. No roof vent. I figured as long as the ac worked I wouldn't need it and I don't have to worry about it leaking.
  11. I believe I saw you heading east on I-80 in Pa around the 15 mile marker I think it was Wednesday. That is one sharp looking B model.
  12. My R models was more like a sprocket that turned and holes in another piece and as you turned it opened if that makes sense
  13. Yes and after a couple of years of tying up my garage I can't wait till its done
  14. I finally got to get some work done. I spent the last couple months stripping most everything off the frame and scrapped, sanded, power washed and finally got it painted last weekend. I bolted the stack brackets, fuel tank brackets and fifth wheel back on and painted it again today. I'll have to get the air lines cleaned up and run back the frame and get all the brake hardware on and then i can get the shiny stuff on.
  15. I have an 83 Superliner and it doesn't turn very good either. It's like the old song Give me 40 acres to turn this thing around

  18. I glued mine in also I hope it holds. I can only imagine the work to go through again if it doesnt
  19. If it's the fittings you just push the line into I've cut a little off the air line and it usually stops the leak.
  20. My dump trailer did the same thing for awhile and I didn't know where to look for a problem and one day it started working like it should. I figured it must have had apiece of dirt somewhere. Good luck
